Good morning Green Rangers! Welcome to 2023 Junior High School National Bible Day Quiz
Bee.
To start the program, may I call on Sephie Angeli Cristobal of Grade 9- Faith for the invocation
of prayer.
Thank you Sephie!
Before we proceed, may I introduce to you our participants for today’s event. Let us all
welcome, the representatives of Junior High School!

Now, Let us hear the mechanics and guidelines of our competition.
I. Guidelines/Mechanics
A. Participants:
1. The contest is open to any Junior High School students of Notre Christi
Academy of the Philippines.
2. Each section must form a group consisting of three (3) members.
3. Each group must bring their own black strip, chalk, and rag eraser.
B. Scope and Coverage
1. The quiz bee shall cover questions about Journal Bible Verses, Bible
Characters, and Flag Ceremony Memory Verses.
2. There shall be four (4) rounds/phases:
Round 1 – Easy Round (Multiple Choices)
- It consists of 15 questions
- In this round, the students shall write their answers within 10
seconds.
Round 2 – Average Round (Multiple Choices)
- It consists of 15 questions
- In this round, the students shall write their answers within 10
seconds.
Round 3 – Semi-finals (Identification)
-It consists of 10 questions.
- In this round, the students shall write their answers within 15
seconds.
Round 4 – Finals (Identification)
- It consists of 10 questions
- In this round, the students shall write their answers within 15
seconds.
C. Quiz Bee Proper
1. A Quiz Master, a Timer, and a Scorer shall be assigned to facilitate the
competition.
2. The Quiz Master shall read each of the question twice (2).
3. All answers must be written on their provided black strips. After the second
reading, the Quiz Master shall say the word “GO”. Only then the contestants
shall begin writing their answers on their black strips. It shall be raised when
the SC member signals “TIME IS UP” or when the allotted time is over.
4. Participants will be disqualified from the round if they began writing before
the quiz master signaled "GO."
5. All answers must be written in CAPITAL LETTERS. Wrong spelling is wrong.
D. Elimination Phase
1. There shall be 10-15 questions to be answered by the participants within ten
to fifteen (10-15) seconds.
2. The answers will be evaluated by the Quiz Master, Student Council members,
and assigned teachers.
3. The last two (2) groups shall join the Final Phase.
E. Declaration of Winners.
1. The team that garnered the highest marks shall be declared as the winner.
2. In cases of ties, five (5) clincher questions will be raised to break the tie.
At this point, I guess everyone is ready. We shall begin the contest proper. May I introduce to
you our Quiz Master, Teacher Maureen Alcantara. Teacher Mau?
For the declaration and awarding of winners, may I call on Teacher Marilyn Tucio.
