1. The Communication Process involves different components to ensure
effective communication. However, there are noises or barriers that exist
within it, particularly at the encoding, channel/medium, and decoding parts.
Based on this process, list and explain FOUR (4) barriers in communication
that can take place.
2. Communication is an important part in order for individuals to work together.
There are ways we must consider to engage effective communication at the
workplace. List and explain the FOUR (4) ways to achieve effective
communication at work. Provide an example situation to solidify your
understanding.
3. Companies around the world are getting more culturally diverse. In order to
build good relationship with your colleagues, you must have good
interpersonal skills. List and explain FOUR (4) interpersonal skills you
should have as an employee of these culturally diversed companies.
4. Work culture is the personality or style of an organisation. It reflects the
values and beliefs of the members and portrays a unique identity of the
organisation. Though, this work culture also serves as the working lifestyle
and there are certain aspects that must be considered in order to work
effectively. List and explain FOUR (4) characteristics of an effective work
culture.
5. Effective listening is a crucial interpersonal skill that all employers are
looking for. There are various ways to learn and practice effective listening
but an easy way to get started is to identify the seven key to active listening.
