The document discusses MiCOM P921, P922, and P923 voltage and frequency relays. The relays provide voltage and frequency protection for a variety of applications from 57V to 480V. They have independent phase thresholds to protect motors and generators. Programmable logic allows combination of protection functions. The relays integrate frequency thresholds for load shedding and restoration. P923 also has rate of change of frequency elements for severe disturbances.

Voltage and frequency relays

Application
Two voltage ranges are available
to cover the large variety of control
applications: reference voltage
levels supported by MiCOM P921,
P922 and P923 relays from
57V to 480V.
Because of the 3 independent
phase overvoltage and phase
undervoltage thresholds, MiCOM
P921, P922 and P923 relays are
able to provide effective voltage
protection: a typical application
might be the protection of motors
and generators. The configurable
detection logic (AND, OR) can also
indicate the absence of voltage,
when the undervoltage protection
is used.
The 3 zero-sequence overvoltage
