Tablets

Tablets may be defined as the solid unit dosage form of medicament or medicaments with

CAPSULES

Capsules are a solid dosage in which the drug substance is enclosed in a water-soluble shell
or an envelope. A capsule shell is made from gelatin. The capsules are available both as
hard capsule and soft capsule.

POWDERS

A pharmaceutical powder is a mixture of finely divided drugs and chemicals in dry form.
These are solid dosage form of medicament which are meant for internal and external use.

SUPPOSITORIES

Suppositories are solid, single dose preparations. The shape, volume, andconsistency
suppositories are suitable for rectal administration.
