Customer Form Issue: How to Add Different Categories for Attachments (Doc ID 1080508.1)

GOAL
In the Attachment tab of Account Details, the category of an attachment always defaults to 'Miscellaneous', and cannot be
updated. How can additional categories be associated to attachments?
Steps to reproduce:
Responsibility: Trading Community Manager
Navigation: Customers : Standard
Query a customer, then proceed to Account Details
Select Attachment tab.
Click on the button "Add Attachment"
In the Add Attachment page, the Category field defaults to "Miscellaneous" and can not be changed.
In SysAdmin, multiple categories are added but unable to select any of these categories from the Customers page.
Same issue addressed in Bug 5136244, but the issue remains after performing the steps below as provided in the bug:
Responsibility: Applications Developer
Navigation: Attachments : Document Categories
Select a Category, say 'Location Info'
Click on 'Assignments' button
In the Category Assignments - Location Info window, select:
- Type = Form
- Name = Customers
- Check the 'Enabled' checkbox
Save
SOLUTION
Additional values for Category can be implemented via personalization, please execute the following steps:
Responsibility: System Administrator
Navigation: Profile > System
1. Query for
Application = Receivables
Responsibility = <Enter the Responsibility you use for Trading Community or Receivables>
User = <Enter your user name>
Profile = FND: Personalization Seeding Mode
2. Set the value for this profile option under your user name to Yes

Doing the above allows you to perform the following:
Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Customers > Customers
1. Query a customer, and navigate to Account details
2. Go to the Attachments tab
3. Click on Personalize Attachments Link
4. Expand Entity Map and Category Mappings

5. Click on Create Item icon for Category Mappings

6. Create Item Page is Displayed with the Category Options as LOV.
7. Select a Category from the list, provide a unique value for ID (eg = 123), and click on Apply
8. Return to Application
9. Click on 'Add Attachment' button, Category is now an choice item where the user can select the category added in
Step #7.
