Creative Writing
Teacher Directions:
To get your students writing creative stories
or sentences, I’ve provided some fun writing
templates.
The words on the side of the next 2 writing
pages help your students feel confident
spelling the words in their writing and also
provide inspiration for reluctant writers. You
can have them write a story using as many of
the words on the side as they can or just a
story with those as help. The next page has 3
boxes with individual lines so you can also have
students write/illustrate a new sentence for
each box using the words on the side.
I have also included a few levels of writing
pages and words charts that you can put in
your writing center for students to reference
to write fun stories. You can also send the
chart home, have students keep it in their
folder, or use in small groups for extra
reading practice. They’ll love getting to color it
to make it their own! © Miss Giraffe
