technology; and,
Imbue the graduates with socially and morally sound motivations and principles to live
by. Routing protocols and concepts is the preferred second course of the CCNA exploration series. It
will tackle the different routing concepts and protocols in a more detailed manner. This course
describes the architecture, components, and operation of routers, and explains the principles of
routing and the primary routing protocols. The laboratory activities give emphasis on the
configuration and troubleshooting of simple networks using the simulator, packet tracer, and the
actual intermediary devices, such as routers and switches.
Packet tracer will be used as the simulation program for all computer lab activities.
