Working in teams
• In teamwork, the personalities and working methods of individuals emerge.
• Each teamworker develops their own role in the team.
• A functional team needs different participants with their own strengths.
• A good teamworker recognizes their own strengths and teamwork roles.
• They are able to position themselves in different roles as required by the situation

and the team and can change to another role if necessary.
• Communal teamwork requires a willingness to work together to achieve common
goals.
• The utilisation of different team roles is enhanced by interaction skills and teamwork
skills.
• During the studies, a lot of teamwork and activities will be used in different roles.
What kind of expertise do I have?
Teamwork requires utilising different strengths. After the team has been shaped, we will
start mapping the know-how, for example self-assessment, in which case you can consider
the following:

• Teamwork skills (interaction skills, professional skills, teamwork skills, etc.)

• Level of competence in relation to the objectives of the project (I have not heard of it, I have
heard about it, I know how to do it, I manage and I am able to teach others)
• Level of interest in relation to project objectives (I'm not interested, I'm interested, but my
time is on the cards, I'm interested and willing to invest in the issue in time too)
• What kind of role/tasks I would like to take on in the project
• What kind of team role would I be best suited for?
