Each standard BGI.10 weighing display controller has the
following functions:

1. Install
This section describes the appearance and installation of the controller.
Ground the rear end of the instrument through the power cord, and
ensure good contact, do not connect the ground wire to the ground
wire of other equipment. To ensure personal safety and the reliability and
stability of the instrument, be sure to ground the instrument reliably. (separate
grounding is recommended). Since ac version controller USES ac non-safe
voltage (87V~264V), please be sure to disconnect the power supply before
installing the controller and system connection to ensure personal safety.

1.3.1 The power interface


The power supply of the standard controller is the adaptive global power supply,
and its plug is different from all other plugs in internal size, which can avoid wrong
plug;Ac version controller power supply for ac 87V ~ 264V (note: dc version for dc
18-36v). Pin definition is as follows:

Analog input or output signals are sensitive to electronic noise.
These analog input or output signals should not be ligated together
to avoid possible interference. Keep them away from the ac power
supply and minimize the length of all wires or coaxial cables (dc
version for dc 18-36 v).

1.3.2 Sensor interface


When connecting multiple sensors, each sensor shall form a weighing signal
through the junction box to connect to the controller. The cable from the junction box to
the controller requires a metal shielding layer. It is recommended to use a special
shielding signal cable.The length of the cable with the longest connectable weighing
signal of the controller is shown in the following table:

1.3.4 network (MODBUS TCP)


The dc version supports standard port hardware, and currently supports
connection between two network ports. One is MODBUS TCP, the default port is
502, and the address is exactly the same as the MODBUS address of the serial
port. One is continuous output, and the default port is 503.

The main board input, output terminal and external connection are
shown in the figure. For convenience, the output is connected to the
relay and the indicator light respectively.The output end is the optical
isolation output, and the block diagram is the instrument part.

According to the figure, the main board provides 4 optoelectronic isolated


output points, compatible with PLC, can directly drive relays, transistors, etc.,
with internal overcurrent, overvoltage protection, by the external power supply
24V, external load through COM1 connection.

compatible with PLC, can be connected to relays, buttons, transistors, etc.,
with internal overcurrent, overvoltage protection, by external power supply

2. Functional operation
2.1 function description
This controller USES Chinese/English interface, all operation
process and working state have prompt information, greatly
facilitates the user's operation.It support:
Only weighing method (PLC control process),
Bulk scale mode (flow scale) : accumulative weight control
under discharge or incoming condition;
There is a weighing bucket: after the measurement in the

measuring bucket for entrainment, beating and other packaging
actions;
No weighing bucket: bag is clamped first, then metering
control, and finally additional flapping and other actions;
Weight reduction: measure and control the weight loss in the
metering hopper (intermittent feeding);
Double scale interlock mode: two meters share the bag,
which is the first to complete the material which is the first;
10 kinds of formula setting are supported, and the packaging
or filling varieties can be easily changed on site;
Support serial port communication and serial port
Chinese/English printing, convenient to record the situation;

2.2 basic operations


2.2.1 boot
When the bgi.10 weighing controller is powered on, the controller
display will display the starting interface. When the setting time is reached,
the current working status of the controller will be displayed as shown in the
following figure

The first behavior software version number is: "S1.09",


The second line shows the current running mode, such as "bulk scale mode"
The third line shows the target weight of the current recipe in the selected units of
measurement.
The fourth line shows the zero range, and the zero range pair should output
OUT10. If the zero range is: 0.9, the zero range output is valid when the
display weight is: -0.9 < the display weight < +0.9.This setting is also a
condition for weight flow control;

When everything is ok, the controller will return to the normal display state.
The operator needs to enter the system setting and enter the password before
the system setting.
The default password of the controller is 8888 with a maximum of
four digits. Please change your password before use and protect
your password.

2.2.2 Operating hints


When the normal button operation, the controller will make a short ring.But when
an illegal setting is entered or the input data is invalid, the controller will growl and the
operation should be resumed.
If the button controller rings for a long time, the operation is invalid.
Enter the corresponding password every time you enter the operation of setting
parameters.

2.2.3 Clear operation


When the controller is dynamic or the current display value exceeds the set range
of key zeroing, it cannot be zeroing.
Note: zero clearing will not be possible when the system is running
(automatic).If zeroing is required, the system must be switched to a stop
(manual) state before proceeding.

Using MODBUS communication protocol requires the parameter
"communication output mode = MODBUS RTU", and the local address is also set in

body structure, the feeding device, the material property, the response speed of
the instrument, the response speed of the sensor, etc. Only the response
speed of the instrument is discussed here. The response speed of the
instrument is determined by the filter coefficient, whether the formula setting is
reasonable, etc. (mainly the small feed setting);

2: filter Settings:
220V power supply version is generally set in 30-90, in which: particle
material is generally in 30-50;
Powder material in general 40-60; 24V power supply version is generally
set in 1-6, in which: particle material is generally in 1-3, powder material is
generally in 2-6;
No matter which version, the larger the number, the more stable the weight,
but the reaction will slow down, will slightly affect the packaging speed;

3. Small feed setting:


S1.21 above version supports the display of effective small feed time, which is
convenient for the quick debugging of small feed value, so as to get the effect
of fast feed without affecting the accuracy. In the menu "advance amount
automatic correction", set "small feed time display" as "yes", then the
information prompt bar will display the small feed feed time of each weighing,
this time has no decimal point, the unit is 100 milliseconds.If it shows 12, it
means that the small feeding time is 1.2 seconds; if it shows 7, it means that
the small feeding time is 0.7 seconds.
This time does not include the forbidden comparison time, so when the display
of 0, indicating that there is no normal small feed, that is, the forbidden
comparison time of small feed to immediately close the small feed door,
generally speaking, this is the material overrush. In this case, can increase
the prohibited comparison time of small feed, if the prohibited comparison time
is increased, the effective time of small feed is shown to be greater than 1 (that
is, greater than 0.1 seconds), indicating that it has been able to avoid
overshooting, the packaging effect should be improved; Increase the
setting value of small feed, increase the setting value of small feed, will lead to
small feed time, will affect the packaging speed; In the pursuit of packaging
speed, can be adjusted to effective small feeding time between 5-10, that is,
