ULTRAPRIME is 2 high-performance, superior quality water based primer
formulated to promote adhesion and prevent rust formation when used on
galvanised steel for interior and exterior use. It contains fungicides to eliminate
fungal growth.
ULTRSHEEN is a high-performance, non-drip superior quality pure acrylic
emulsion formulated to provide @ long lasting, extremely durable finish which
i stain resistant. It contains fungicides to eliminate fungal growth

A paint system for galvanised surfaces, structural steel, cromadek and pipes
where a corrosion protection and decorative paint system is required for
prepared new and weather but sound galvanised surfaces,

6 Preparation
New galvanised surfaces to be pre-treated with Galv Prep.
Apply the Galv Prep undiluted with a brush application
Allow for 10 minutes to re-act with the galvanised surface.
Rinse with clean water.
Allow to dry.
Note — Wear rubber gloves when using Galv Prep

7. Application
Application procedure to apply the ULTRA protective coating paint
system on galvanised steel.
7.1 Preparation

7.2.2 Priming of the surface should only commence once the surface
temperature is above 8°C with a relative humidity of below
85% and if the weather permits painting.
7.2.3 Over-coating time of the ULTRAPRIME is 24 hours.
7.2.4 A measle corrosion test need to be done on weathered rusted
galvanised sheeting to determine if a 2™ coat of
ULTRAPRIME is required to cover to rust peaks.
7.3 Topeoat - ULTRASHEEN
73.1 Stir the ULTRASHEEN well with a flat paddle for at least 3
minutes.
7.3.2 If the weather permits and the surface temperature are above
8°C with less than 85% relative humidity, apply by brush,
mohair roller or airless spray 2 coats of ULTRASHEEN at 8m*
per litre, (100m wet film thickness and 351m microns dry
film thickness).
733. First coat of ULTASHEEN need to dry for 24 hours before the

Method: Roller (preferably mohair), brush or airless spraygun,
Thinning: Not recommended, but water if required.
Cleaning: Tap water.
Conditions: Temperature between 10°C and 40°C. Relative humidity of less than 85 %.
Drying time: 4 hours minimum( touch dry }
Recoating time: 24 hours at 23°C.
Requirements: 2 coats.
|URFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be sound, clean and dry (moisture content below 15%) before painting.
