STORY DEVELOPMENT:
1.A race — hare and tortoise — hare — boasted — tortoise — humble — hare — ran fast — tortoise —
just moving — hare — slept — tortoise — slowly reached — hare — got up — ran — but lost —
moral.
This is an interesting moral story. It teaches us many values. Once upon a time there was a race
between a hare and tortoise. The hare boasted himself. The tortoise was very humble. The race
had begun. The hare ran very fast. The tortoise was just moving slowly. The hare thought that, it
could rest for a while. It slept under a tree. The tortoise reached the end line. The hare got up and
ran very fast but, lost the race. The tortoise was declared as the winner.
2.An ant – fell into a river notable come out- A bird saw- leaf- dropped climbed
the wind drove- the banks- saved thanked- a hunter- catch the bird- at saw- its friends
biting hunter- ran away- saved- thanked.
Ans: An ant fell into a river. It was notable come out. A bird saw this. It took a leaf and dropped it near
the ant. The ant climbed on to the leaf. The wind drove the leaf to the banks of the river. The ant was
saved. The ant thanked the bird. One day a hunter came to catch the bird. The ant saw this. It called all
its friends. All the ants biting the hunter. He ran away in fear. The bird was saved. The bird thanked the
ants.
3.An old woman- greedy- a goose in her house- golden egg- every day sold- her living- becoming
very rich- though- hundreds of golden eggs- its stomach- killed only one egg- lost what she had.
Ans : There was an old woman. She was greedy. She had a goose in her house. It laid golden egg every
day. She sold it in market. Day by day her living started becoming very rich. A though came into her
mind. She thought there might be hundreds of golden eggs in its stomach. She wished to become
sudden rich. She killed the goose. There was only one egg in it. She lost the goose.
4.A lion asleep___ a little mouse___ came upon him___ lion roused from sleep ____ caught
mouse___ rat begged to leave___ lion ___ let it __go. Lion caught in net ____ roared for help____
mouse made a hole in net___- lion got free.
A lion was asleep in the forest. A little mouse unexpectedly came upon a lion. The lion roused in angry
and caught the mouse in his hand and began to swallow. The mouse requested the lion to let him go and
he will repay for that. One day the lion caught in hunters net and tried to come out of it but he didn’t. So
the lion roared for the help. Nobody came to help the lion but the mouse came and cut the net and made
a hole. The lion got free and thanked the mouse and become good friends and lived happily.
Moral:- Never underestimates anyone.
5.A tortoise and swans friends__ turtle __ talkative drought____ pond ___ dry ____swan___move
___other place ___turtle___request____take him___ swan plan____ hold___ piece of stick___ turtle
hold___ told not to speak___ crossing village___ children make fun___ turtle___ angry___ opened its
mouth and died.
Once a Tortoise and swans were good friends. They were living in a pool. The turtle was very talkative.
Once there was a draught. Pond begins to dry. Swans decided to move to another place. Turtle
requested swans to take him away with them. Swans thought of a plan, they brought a piece of stick and
asked turtle to hold the stick by its mouth and they hold the sticks both ends and told turtle to not to
speak. While they were crossing a village, children were surprised at that sight and made fun of turtle.
They shouted at turtle. Tortoise got angry and opened its mouth and fell down on the ground and died.

6.A rabbit and a turtle race---------------rabbit ahead--------- tired and slept--------- --turtle walk
step by step---- reach final point---------- win race----moral.
One day a rabbit and a turtle began a race. The rabbit raced ahead of the turtle. When he reached half
the way the rabbit saw back. The turtle was far away from him. The rabbit was tired and slept under a
tree. The turtle walked step by step and passed by the rabbit. He reached the final point before the rabbit
and won the race.
Slow and steady wins the race.

climbed up a tree——the other lied down—Motionless———the bear came near and sniffed the boy—
— went away———the friend on the tree climbed down ———enquired——what did the Bear tell
him——replied———” Don’t trust a false friend”. Moral
3. Once a wood cutter ——cutting wood——dropped his axe in the pond———started weeping——
—god appeared——asked what is the matter———God brought a golden axe from the pond——
wood cutter did not accept——god ———silver axe———wood cutter did not accept——— finally
god——————iron axe wood cutter accepted. God was happy and——— Moral.
4.Robert Bruce was the king of Scotland ___defeated by the enemy ___drove him out of the
country____ hid ---himself in a cave ____saw a spider____ it tried to climb up the wall____ made
several attempts ____succeeded at last _____Bruce learn the lesson he made a final attempt he became
victorious.
