MONTHLY REPORT

 In my third month of my internship program I was totally transferred to another

site of the company, the site have well organized construction crew and the work
progress is very fast that I never seen before. The project is a G+13mixed use
building project, when I got there 6th floor slab was already finished. When the
time I have been in the previous site it was a G+3 residential building and most
of the work had covered by the site engineer even if the supervision work but
not here.so the difference helped me to perceive, and able to experience different
things. During my time at site I have seen different construction techniques and
very fast construction progress.
 The building has experienced it’s fastest progress since i arrived. Everything has
gone to plan as all tasks, i.e. fixing the false work (probs) and I beam for 7th floor
slab, formwork construction, re bar arrangement and concrete placement were
completed on schedule. Here I noticed they coated the formwork with some oil
type in order to avoid adhesion with the concrete.
 In addition to this HCB was constructed for vertical wall so as a partition space
on 5th block. The other major point that I observed during this month was
construction procedure of plastering, the plastering work that I had seen on the
site is in 3 round, 1st and 2nd round is known as “girf” and “mulet” and the final
round is known as “lesesn” as shown as the figure above.
 Furthermore provision of reinforcement erection of form work and concrete fill
for lift shear wall and column have been done.
 Eventually in the office I had done take off sheet, bar schedule and cost
estimation for 7th floor slab, beam column and shear wall.

• At all this was a month where I got in to a new site and noticed new construction
techniques.
