Thesis Title: Impact of Personality on Aggression and Psychological Distress
Among Smokers.
Smoking has become a pressing concern within colleges and universities
across Pakistan. We embarked on a study to understand better how one's
personality can influence aggression and psychological distress among
smokers. Our research involved nearly 250 participants, consisting of male
and female students aged 18 to 40, hailing from various universities in
Islamabad and Rawalpindi. To delve into this, we used the Big Five
Personality Inventory, the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire, and
Psychological Distress Scales to assess their personality traits, levels of
aggression, and psychological distress, respectively. The data was analysed
through correlation and regression techniques.
