ABSTRACT
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly playing a vital role in disaster management by
enhancing preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. Predictive modelling, powered by AI,
analyses historical data and weather patterns to forecast disasters, improving early warning
systems. Image analysis, using technologies like satellite imagery and drones, rapidly assesses
damage post-disaster, aiding in resource allocation. Natural Language Processing (NLP)
extracts information from sources like social media, providing real-time insights into evolving
situations. AI-driven decision support systems assist emergency teams in resource allocation
and logistics management during crises. Efficient resource allocation, guided by AI algorithms,
ensures optimal deployment of personnel and supplies. AI's adaptability allows for continuous
learning from each disaster, refining strategies for future responses. Integrating AI into disaster
management enhances overall resilience and responsiveness, minimizing the impact on
affected communities.
