Boat is secured in stowage position by hooks and lashing system.Launching instruction Freefall The boat runs down the launching ramp and on hitting the water submerges briefly before emerging and moving away from the stern of the ship. The boat will clear the vessel irrespective of weather conditions or angle of heel. Instructions for launching procedure on the following page. Launching by davit In some cases (shallow water, driftice, drifting parts of the cargo) itis necessary to launch the boat with max. number of persons by davit.
