Ref Cycle Function

The refrigeration cycle functions by compressing refrigerant vapor using a compressor (A9), which is then routed to a condenser (1) where it cools down and liquefies. The liquefied refrigerant then flows through a receiver/drier (2) and expansion valve (3) into an evaporator (4) where it vaporizes, cooling incoming air. A pressure and temperature sensor (B12/2) monitors the refrigerant conditions, and cooled air is routed into the passenger compartment when the engine is running and blower switched on.
