MY PERSONAL INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
Hello Everybody, My name is Abhishek Dubey 2016-20 batch (CSE) ,
I recently joined IBM India.
I’ve applied to IBM and Accenture 3 months ago through LinkedIN.
Got an invitation for the test in IBM, First round was a simple
coding round , after clearing that round you’ll move to next round
that is Cognitive Ability test that consists of Gaming based aptitude
test you can easily find that on youtube, after clearing second
round you’ve to pass english test in this test you’ve to be fast solve
as much as you can in a given time limit, mostly questions are
MCQs and Fill in the blanks after clearing this round you’ll face
Technical & HR round these are the questions which the
interviewer asked.
Introduction
Resume based questions (Prepare your resume well and don’t
write anything extra that you are not aware of)
Difference between java and python
Situation based questions
Puzzle question (Search on google you’ll find tons of these
questions)
Types of Sorting
What is Cloud Computing.
What you know about IBM.
Any questions? ( Please keep in mind , if interviewer is giving
you any Opportunity to ask any question grab that
opportunity , I asked how IBM able to managed the situation
in COVID-19 )
After 2 days I got email that everything seems good and fine and
they are conducting the background verification, after 1 month
of successful BG verification I received my OL.
Accenture:
The first round is of MCQs that consists of 90 MCQs in 90
minutes, it is an elimination round on the same day there was a
coding round if you are able to clear the first round then you’ll
be able to do the coding round. The coding round contains 2
coding questions one is easy and one is a bit tough you’ve to
pass atleast one coding question to move further then at last
there is English Communcation test (It may or may not
elimination round , but do take this as an elimination round). At
last the interview.
There are two members on panel(Technical & HR), and trust me
Accenture interview is world’s easiest interview to crack.
Introduction
Project in brief
Resume
If education gap then why?
Rate your worst B.Tech subject and why (Tip: choose
subject from 1st year like chem. Or phy. )
Rate yourself in Programming language and why?
Difficulties you faced in making of your project and how
you solve them.
Challenges you faced in COVID-19.
Who lead your projects and how you took help of your
teacher.
Any questions?
NOTE: They focus more on communication skills rather than
technical skills , but get well prepared for the technical also, you
never know what is going through their mind.
So at last I received OFFER LETTER from both these companies and
I’ve accepted IBM.
Some of my friends from 2016-2020 batch got offers from big
