FARMING QUESTIONS
1. What was the biggest challenge you encountered during your years of farming?
- Weather unpredictability is a big one. The unexpected changes have a significant impact on our crops.
Another challenge is dealing with pests and diseases that can damages our crops. And of course, there's the
financial aspect the cost of equipment, seeds, and labor can be high, and sometimes the return on investment
isn't as high as one would hope
2. What are your plans for the future – do you want to expand your farm operations?
-I want to expand my operations by acquiring more land or diversifying the types of crops we grow. I want to
invest in new technologies that can help our farm more efficiently. Ann I am looking to pass out our farms to
the next generation, ensuring that our family's farming legacy continues.
3. What are the inputs needed in your farm?
-Seeds to plant, machinery and Equipment to help us easier in plowing and harvesting. Labor, farming can be
labor-intensive, so having enough hands on deck is crucial. Capital, Like any business, farming requires an
investment. This can be used to purchase land, machinery, seeds, and to pay for labor. Water also is important
to helps our crops grow.
Fertilizers and Pesticides, these is very important to enhance soil fertility and protect crops from pests and
diseases.
4. As a farmer, what is your aspiration in life?
- My aspiration is to strengthen our local communities, I want to provide fresh, healthy food to neighbors and
contribute to the local economy
