WHAT IS OBESITY?

Obesity is generally caused by eating too


much and moving too little. If you consume
high amounts of energy, particularly fat
and sugars, but do not burn off the energy
through exercise and physical activity,
much of the surplus energy will be stored
by the body as fat.

Yogurt is a great way to get protein and healthy fat
in your diet first thing in the
morning for BREAKFAST,
not to mention the active
cultures. It's also easy to make
with the help of an Instant Pot.
While the process is almost
entirely hands-off, you'll want to get started the
day before to let the yogurt incubate and chill.

Apples and peanut butter

heaven, both nutritionally and flavour-wise. On
one hand, apples are a fibre-rich fruit. On the other
hand, peanuts provide healthy fats, plant-based

How does fat cause obesity problems?


Everyone needs to consume seven classes of food in the right
quantities every day to get enough energy. When we eat those foods
that contain fat, our body will undergo a food digestion process
which will break down the food into smaller molecules that are fatty
acids and glycerol in the duodenum.
Then, the digested fat, that is fatty acids and glycerol will reach
the small intestine and be absorbed by the villi through diffusion.
After that, the digested fat is absorbed through the epitelium cells
into the lacteal. The lacteal will transfer it into the lymphatic
system and then to the blood circulatory system.

Moreover, the digested fat will undergo an assimilation process


that is digested fat will combine to form fat which is used to
protect the internal organs. Digested fat will also be stored under
the skin as a heat insulator to regulate body temperature. So when
we consume foods that contain fats in large quantities, many
digested fat will wrap the internal organs and stored under the skin
such as abdomen, hips and thighs. This might cause death to an
individual who is facing this problem.

By and large, an unbalanced diet with a lack of exercise and an


unhealthy lifestyle are linked to obesity. Obesity is related to many
health problems such as heart disease, high blood pressure and
diabetes. Thus, we need to work hand in hand to overcome this
problem. Here are some ways to solve the obesity problems.

I’ve learnt a lot about obesity and the importance of
keeping up a healthy lifestyle throughout this whole
project. I’m very appreciative to have a chance to do
this project and let me search for information online
or in books. It lets me gain more knowledge on
obesity. This project also aware me to keep away
from obesity and step on a healthy lifestyle from now
on. I will also share this useful information about
obesity to my family and friends so they will be
aware of it as well.
