1. Set a timer for fifteen minutes and write two or three assessment report remarks within that
period. Tell yourself you just have 15 minutes to complete it. You’ll be more productive and
efficient.
2. Break down the large process of drafting a report into smaller segments. Consider starting
with your broad observations. Break out your general assessment report remarks into two or
three parts every day.
3. Begin with the most difficult assignment. It’s surprising how empowering and inspiring it is to
know that you’ve finished the part you were most dreading.
4. Make positive self-talk a habit. Tell yourself that you’ve got this!
5. When you’re having trouble expressing yourself, comment banks are a great place to start.
