Materials:
- Yarn (see page 1 for colors and yarns I´ve used)
- 2,5 mm hook or a size that suits your yarn
- A pair of 8 mm black safety eyes or black embroidery thread
- Stuffing, scissors, tapestry and sewing needle, stitch marker,
pins and sewing or embroidery thread in the same color as
the hair

Abbreviations/US terminology:
Please see the last page for the links to some
helpful videos!

ch - chain
dc - double crochet
dc-inc - double crochet increase
dec - decrease
hdc - half double crochet
in blo - all stitches are worked in back
loops only
inc - increase
rnd(s) - round(s)
sc - single crochet
sc3tog - single crochet three st together
slst - slip stitch
st - stitch(es)
(…) - number in parentheses
indicates the number of
stitches at the end of the round
*…* - repeat instructions x times or to
the end of the round
{...} - work all of the stitches into the
same stitch

Notes:

- Do not join rounds, work in a continuous spiral unless otherwise stated.

- Always change your yarn in the last step of the last stitch.
- “In blo” at the beginning of a rnd means, that you have to crochet all the st in blo unless otherwise stated.
- I mostly join new yarn with a standing sc, hdc or dc instead of ch 1, ch 2 or ch 3. That looks much neater.
- Fasten off your work with needle join and you´ll get a neat result.
- Stuff your amigurumi as you go. I use a chopstick for that!
- Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the beginning of a round.
- Using the materials described, Rose is ~14,20 inches / 36 cm tall.

I would love to see your creations! Feel free to share them on Instagram
