 The communication standard for the station bus based on Ethernet


 Recommended max. number of IED’s per IEC 61850 system: 500
=> SICAM PAS system limits needs also to be considered (max. 350 IED’s)

 Recommended max. number of GOOSE massages per system: 1.000


 Recommended max. Number of GOOSE send per IED: 16
 Recommended max. Number of GOOSE received per IED: 128
 We recommend the use of Ethernet components from Ruggedcom,
Hirschmann and Siemens Scalance X EEC

Inter-bay communication independent of the station unit via IEC 61850-
