Regarding permission, the recording studio belongs to the Creative Media Production Department
and therefore I needed permission from one of the teachers that works in the department (which I
was granted) to be able to record freely when no other people require the studio space and to
additionally use it responsibly.

As I am producing a radio drama the space is ideal in every way. It consists of very high-quality
recording equipment that I would require in order to capture the clearest audio to then edit. As there
are no visuals in my production either I don’t have to worry about how the space looks visually,
just simply the suitability that it has for audio. The space is additionally perfect as it has
soundproofed walls meaning no external sound will interfere with the recording which is
commonly the biggest issue.
