1. Introduction
1.1. Overview
PortSIP UC is a SIP softphone that initiates or accepts calls and instant communication information
via Wi-Fi or 4G/LTE connection. It supports H.264 and VP8 video encoders. With Fanvil product,
you can initiate 1080P video calls, HD audio calls, remote one-click door opening on the App. This
document introduces the methods to use PortSIP UC with Fanvil product. After the configuration,
you are able to achieve these functions on PortSIP UC.
1.2. Applicable Model
All Fanvil product.
1.3. Before You Start
Step1.
Prepare PoE switch, network cable, one Fanvil product like i61, Wireless Router, SIP Server and one
phone.
Step2.
Refer to the connection diagram, connect i61, SIP Server, Wireless Router and computer to the
switch.
Step3.
Create two SIP account on SIP Server, one for i61, another for phone.
Step4.
Connect your phone to Wireless Router, confirm the network between i61,SIP Server and phone.

2. How to use PortSIP UC with Fanvil product
In this chapter, we will take i61 as an example to introduce the configuration of achieving 1080P
video calls, HD audio calls, and remote one-click door opening with PortSIP UC. Registration is the
most important step to achieve those function. Please config as below ‘Registration’ part before
you start.
2.1.Registration
2.1.1. Register i61 on SIP Server
Step1.
Go to Line-SIP page, register i61 on SIP Server.
Activate: Enable
Username: Define a name (one word) (eg.115)
Display name: Use the same name as the Username
Authentication User: Use the Username provided by the SIP Server
Authentication Password: Use the Password provided by the SIP Server
Server Address: SIP Server’s IP address or domain name
Server Port: SIP Server SIP port
Step 2.
Click the ‘Apply’ button when done.

2.1.2. Register your phone on SIP Server
Step 1.
Input SIP username and password provided by SIP Server, but also the IP address or domain name
of SIP Server.
Step 2.
Click ‘Sign in’ button when done.
2.2.Add contacts
Go to ‘Contacts’ page on App, click top right icon. Input i61 SIP number on the next page and apply .

2.3.1. one-touch call from i61
Step1.
Config DSS Key 1.
Type: Memory Key
Name: Define a name (one word)
Value: SIP number of phone
Subtype: Select ‘Speed Dial’
Line: Select the Line which you register in 2.1.1 part

Step2.
Click ‘Apply’ button when done.
Step3.
Press DSS key on i61 and it will dial to phone.
2.3.2. Call from APP
Go to ‘Dialpad’ page on App, input i61 SIP number and click the dial icon.

mode to dial.
2.4. Remote door opening
Step1.
Setup a remote key on i61:
Type: Select ‘Remote’
Password: Input remote password

Step 2.
Click ‘Apply’ button when done.
Step 3.
Select your i61 extension type as ‘Door Guard’ and input your remote password on ‘Open Door
Password’ part.
