Renu describes her first day at a new school in Delhi after transferring from Trivandrum. She was very nervous since it was her first day. She walked into a classroom full of unfamiliar students and sat alone, afraid to talk to anyone. However, two girls introduced themselves as twins Neeta and Swati, which made Renu begin to feel less scared as other students also introduced themselves. By the time the teacher entered, Renu was feeling less nervous about her first day at the new school.
