Tennis is a racket sport that is played individually
against a single opponent (singles) or two players
each (doubles).
Tennis is an Olympic sport
The original forms of tennis developed in France
during the late Middle Ages.
Tennis is played by millions of players and is a
popular worldwide spectator sport.

Rafael Nadal: He is
considered the best Spanish
tennis player in history and
one of the best of all time. He
was born in Manacor
(Mallorca) in 1986 and is the
best clay court tennis player

The Grand Slam of tennis is made up of the four
major official tournaments of the international
circuit organized by the International Tennis
Federation. They are the following:

The objective of the game is to hit a ball with the racket in such
a way that it bounces on the other court, passing over a net,
within the limits marked by the lines
It could be play by 1 vs 1 or dobles
The ball can only bounce once before
being hit.
The players can’t touch the net during
a point dispute.

The rectangular court is divided into two fields that measure
11.89 m x 10.97 m in the case of double matches or 11.89 m x
8.23 ​m in the case of 1 vs 1.

15, 30, 40 and the next point, the game
is over. In the event of a 40-40 tie, a
player as to to win two points in a row
to win that game. The objective of the
match is win 6 games to win a set. The
matches can be either 3 sets or 5 sets.

1972 is the year when The Association of Tennis Professionals was


formed.

notable achievements are two Grand Slam
championships, Roland Garros 2016 and
Wimbledon 2017; a participation in the 2016
