ACTIVITY
TASK # 1: Here are quotes on teachers. Read and understand them. Do you agree with each
of the quotation?
1. “Teachers change the world, one at a time”
2. “The influence of a good teacher can never be erased”
Answer: I agree with the quotations. There are teachers who really teach by heart, and
with that, their influence plants in the minds of their students and carries it in their lives.
3. Write here your favorite quote that you want to be read by your professor.
Answer: “The duties of a teacher are neither few nor small, but they elevate the mind and
give energy to the character”
ANALYSIS
1. Based on your observation, do all teachers embody the traits expected of
professional teachers?
Answer: Not all teachers embody the traits expected of professional teachers. Some are
just teaching because that’s the profession destiny has given them as what they say. Some
just went to school not to teach but just gossip and let their students to whatever they
want, at the end of the day, they’ll still receive they paycheck.
APPLICATION
1. Cite at least 3 specific ethical behaviors of a professional teacher based on Article III
of the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers. Come up with an artistic and creative
presentation.
Answer: 1. Section 1. A teacher is a facilitator of learning and of the development of the
youth; he shall, therefore, render the best service by providing an environment
conductive to such learning and growth.

participate in community movements for moral, social, educational, economic and
civic betterment.

2. How should a professional teacher regard indigenous people’s culture?
Answer: professional teachers should respect and accept indigenous people's culture
because, in order to engage Indigenous students, a teacher must establish a professional
relationship based on mutual respect, given that indigenous people value their culture
and carry it with them wherever they go.
3. “I don’t hear what you are saying because who you are speaks louder than what you
say”. How does this quote apply to the professional teacher as a community leader?
Discuss your answer.
Answer: Everywhere, we all hear this statement especially if you are holding a title or
authority. “Action speaks louder than words” in another phrase. What we do versus what
we say, it’s always which is true. However, people tend to believe your actions more than
your words that if you try to tell them otherwise, you will sound hypocrite.

Answer: A leader is someone who nurtures the conditions for the progress, growth, and

Answer: Teachers must be the driving force of the students. We do not only teach but we
also inspire them to be a good a learner. We create the future of our students and we
should teach them properly.

1. The university posted policies on the foods to be solid in the canteen for the safety
of the students.
Answer: The school environment can enhance children and people’s skill, knowledge and
behavior in relation to healthy eating. However, unhealthy foods sometimes is available in
canteens. Because sometimes, that’s what the students love.

Answer: It was ascribing the episode 12 because it was ethical, stating that “my school
