The 3-day student aerospace technical fest AEROMANIA 2023 was organized from January 4-6 by the Aerospace Engineering department and Aeronautical Society of India. The fest aimed to provide a platform for aerospace engineering students across India to learn and showcase their technical skills. Various workshops and competitions were held over the 3 days on topics like RC planes, drones, aeromodeling, and flight simulation. The inaugural event featured guest speakers and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. In total over 15 different technical events were held during AEROMANIA 2023 at RVCE.

A Report on Student Aero Technical fest

AEROMANIA-2023

4th to the 6th of January 2023

AEROMANIA is a 3-day Student Aero Technical fest conducted by the Department of


Aerospace Engineering in association with the Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI) from the
4th to the 6th of January 2023. This event is organized by the Aerospace Engineering student
community with the support of the Department and Management. AEROMANIA aims to
bring together the Aerospace and Aeronautical student enthusiasts from various engineering
colleges across India providing them a platform to learn and showcase their technical and
creative potential in the fields of Aerospace Engineering. The various events organised under
AEROMANIA and the details of the events are given below:

DAY 1: 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM

The inauguration for the tech fest was organised on 4th January 2023 from 9.30A.M to
12.30P.M at the Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) Auditorium. Dr Yoganand
Jeppu, Fellow at Honeywell Technology Solutions and Adjunct Faculty, MIT, MAHE, a
SAFe(R) Agilist was invited to be the Keynote speaker for the inauguration ceremony.
Besides, Dr MP Shyam, President, RSST was the chief guest for the Inaugural event. The
first edition of AEROMANIA 2023 was inaugurated in the presence of Dr KN Subramanya,
Principal, RVCE, Dr KS Geetha,Vice Principal, RVCE, Deans, HoDs and other invitees for
the days.

On day 3, at 5.30PM in the civil seminar hall, the AEROMANIA 2023 was culminated with a
brief vote of thanks. The Department thanked all the coordinators and the organisers for
organising and successfully hosting the first ever technical fest of the Aerospace Engineering
Department.
