Looking at the present scenario of the country unemployment is a major problem

which needs to be addressed but is alarmingly increasing every year. When more
than 40 million students completing their higher education every year there is a
need for 40 million employment opportunities every year but in comparison to
that there are less than 4 million employment opportunities. Especially after
covid 19 there is a decline in past jobs as well. For sustainable economy of
country there is a strict need for more employment opportunities which can only
be achieved by setting new entrepreneurial ventures.

Entrepreneurship plays an influential role in the economic growth and standard

of living of the country. Entrepreneurship development is a powerful tool to
empower individuals and improve their social acceptance. It must be
complemented by economic growth and employment opportunities to meet the
rising aspirations of youth. The challenge lies not only in a huge quantitative
expansion of facilities for Entrepreneurship, but also in the awareness to opt it.

Present model of Entrepreneurship development in country prohibits people in

mass number to opt entrepreneurship as there is a belief that entrepreneurship is
only for extra ordinary intelligent & privileged people only. To curb this myth
there is a need for entrepreneurship awareness to masses & that can be achieved
by introducing Entrepreneurship Development to college and university students
-1-
as students during this time period finalize their direction for their careers. And
as per the latest scenario the colleges/universities are giving the mindset of job
seeking (Highly paid Jobs) only. So, there is a need to introduce Entrepreneurship
Development model in a planned and organized manner to schools where they
can connect with other stake holders of the startup ecosystem.

To cater demanding needs of the country in economic perspective, it is necessary

to boost Entrepreneurship at grassroots levels. Here in this conference we are
focused to discuss, create & launch Entrepreneurship Development Program
through Personality Development Centre’s for desired personality of an
entrepreneur by intervention of various stake holders including schools, colleges
& universities with backup support of technical expertise & manpower having
support of Government Institutes, Schemes & Industrialists.
