B.Tech Electrical Engg Model Paper

This document contains a model paper for a Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering exam with 7 sections. It includes questions that require: [1] Brief explanations of properties of ideal voltage sources, back EMF in DC motors, applications of DC generators, slip in induction motors, unilateral/bilateral elements, and losses in power transformers. [2] Calculations using mesh/nodal analysis, RMS/average/form factor values, transformer KVA ratings, and generator/motor parameters. [3] Comparisons of circuit protection devices or explanations of alternator/synchronous motor operation. Students must answer all questions in sections and choose one from final sections.
