DSPC returns

Now that the face to face classes are back and the contests are coming back, the students are more
concerned and focused on the activities they participated in. The young writers who will participate
in the DSPC continue to develop their skills.

Division Schools Press Conference, which is an annual competition for student journalists in the
Philippines. It is a competition that aims to enhance the skills of young writers, broadcasters, and
other media practitioners. The journalism competition begins with the Division Schools Press
Conference (DSPC), where the top three to fifteen in each category, depending on the size of certain
school divisions.

Students who participate in DSPC compete in various categories such as news writing, feature
writing, editorial writing, radio broadcasting, TV broadcasting, and others. DSPC is a great platform
for young people to develop their writing and media skills, as well as build confidence, leadership,
and teamwork abilities.

With the return of this contest, the young writers will be more busy training to reach the Regional
Schools Press Conference (RSPC) next is the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC). After two
years without a contest, the writers are here and are trying thier best to win the DSPC.

Hard work and perseverance are the keys when you seek success. Not everyone wins, but the
important thing is that you gave your best. Keep fighting young writers!
