cutting through tough metal wire and
electrical cables.
Philip screw drivers –
is mostly used in the automotive industry
and it has a cross (X) shape at the tip. This
type of tool is used to turn screws with more
torque to achieve the desired fit and is less
prone to slippage. Using a Phillips
screwdriver may require greater grip Student response

Long Nose Pliers –
are most commonly used for detailed work
with wire, allowing the user greater control Sir, Flat Cord wire –
when bending, gripping and cutting. The Male Plug –
long and thin shape of the jaws gives greater Convenience Outlet
precision and also makes them useful for
accessing areas where regular pliers can't
reach.

Steps:
1. Cut the wire with the use of side cutting
pliers.
2. Peel the skin of the wire with 2inch both
sides
3. Open the male plug
4. Join the skinned flat cord wire to the male
plug using Philip screw drivers
5. Unlocked the convenience outlet
6. connect the other side of skinned flat cord
wire to the convenience outlet using Philip
screws driver.

Class assuming that you are making an
extension wire in your house for you to use
in time of emergency or for you daily needs
especially inside your room. Now, you
don't follow the safety precautions when
making the extension cord.

can lead to electric shocks. Additionally,
cords without a grounding wire can
increase the risk of shocks. Tripping
Hazards: Extension cords stretched across
walkways or under carpets can create

Why is it important to understand safety of
extension cords?
Using extension cords properly is critical to
your safety. With continuous use over time,
an extension cord can rapidly deteriorate,
creating a potentially dangerous electric
shock or fire hazard.
