More Explanation with Examples

Examples of references are shown in square brackets according to the numbers in the References list
below.

Examples
(1) All references should be numbered in the order in which they appear in the text.
Al-Obaidi [1] derived an equation to calculate the power of the system. This equation, however, is updated
for accurate estimation of the power [2].
Mike et al. [3] and Yunis and Malik [4] developed another algorithm for this purpose. Comparing the results,
it was found that the equation derived by Al-Obaidi [1] was more accurate than the one derived using the new
algorithm [4].

(2) References should be cited in the text by placing sequential numbers in square brackets.
2.1. One reference:
An equation is derived to calculate the power of the system [1].
2.2. Two successive references (separated by a comma):
Two equations are derived to calculate the power of the system [1, 2].
2.3. Three successive references (separated by a comma):
Three equations are derived to calculate the power of the system [1-3].
2.4. More than on reference with random numbers (separated by a comma and dash as required):
Many equations are derived to calculate the power of the system [1, 3, 6-10].

(3) All references mentioned in the Reference list are cited in the text.
In the case of one author only,
3.1. If the citation comes at the beginning of a sentence, just write the surname of the author followed
by the reference number in square brackets.
Al-Obaidi [1] derived an equation to calculate the power of the system.
3.2. If the citation comes at the end of a sentence, just write the reference number in square brackets.
An equation is derived to calculate the power of the system [1].
In the case of two authors,
3.3. If the citation comes at the beginning of a sentence, just write the surnames of the first and second
authors followed by the reference number in square brackets.
Al-Obaidi and Lee [2] derived an equation to calculate the power of the system.
3.4. If the citation comes at the end of a sentence, just write the reference number in square brackets.
An equation is derived to calculate the power of the system [2].
In the case of more than two authors,
3.5. If the citation comes at the beginning of a sentence, just write the surname of the first author
followed et al. followed by the reference number in square brackets.
Al-Obaidi et al. [3] derived an equation to calculate the power of the system.

3.6. If the citation comes at the end of a sentence, just write the reference number in square brackets.
An equation is derived to calculate the power of the system [3].

(4) Al-Obaidi [1] studied the effects of wingspan, b, taper ratio, l, and Reynolds number, Re on the lift, CL,
and the drag, CD coefficients.
(5) The lift force is calculated using Eq. (4):
