Project Description:

ABC Project is to maintain a Data Warehouse for XYZ company using Cloud data warehouse
as Snowflake & ETL tool as Matillion. We process & fetch data from multiple sources and then load
to final Dim & Fact tables in Snowflake data warehouse.

Role & Responsibilities:

● Interact with business users/ clients to understand requirement

● Discuss with Architect on design approaches to be implemented

● Developed complex Transformation jobs to read & transform data in Snowflake as per
business requirement
● Developed Orchestration job to orchestrate the flow in Matillion

● Used different transformation components like Join, Filter, Detect Change, Calculator,
Flatten Variant, Sort, Distinct, SQL etc.
● Used different target components like Table Update, Table Output, Rewrite Table etc.

● Used S3 Load components to Load file from S3 to Snowflake

● Used different types of Variables like Job Variable, Grid Variable, Environmental Variable,
Built-In/Automatic Variables while developing jobs to make job more configurable.
● Have loaded data from external Database, Oracle to Snowflake using Database Query
component.
● Performed Unit testing on each jobs developed.

● Created Change Request to deploy changes to Matillion Production
