1. Prepare a piece of paper and coloring materials.
2. At the center of the paper, draw an image of yourself.
3. Now surround that image with things that you identify with culture. You may put things
near the body part related to it (or symbolically related). Your ideas may include:
 Near the heart: Images/ descriptions of your value systems, norms important to your
family, etc.
 Near the mouth: Images/ descriptions of the law and consequences of breaking it.
 Near the legs: Images/ descriptions of what are taboos in your culture
 Include a reflective paragraph that describes your cultural values and norms and how
these elements make you unique.

Activity-3
Directions:

1. If you are to list, in order of importance, the many socialization agents in your life, how
would your list look like? Use the table below for your list.

2. In column B, try to identify the most critical influence each applied on you and give a
concrete example of this.
