Exam Delivery Overview
The tools that are required for certification exam delivery are found on the Download files page in Autodesk Online at http://autodesk.starttest.com. Autodesk uses a secure browser for exam delivery. This browser is a secure version of MS Internet Explorer. The browser is provided free of charge for Certification Centers. You must have administrative rights to the testing workstations in order to download and install the secure browser. The secure browser prevents testing candidates from accessing other websites or software applications during testing. If you will be delivering performance exams, such as the 2009 or 2010 Professional level exam, you will also be required to download and install data files. These data files are required to answer the questions. You must have administrative rights to the testing
Installing the Secure Browser
To install the secure browser, click Downloads in the navbar, and then click the link Online and Offline Secure Browser as shown to right.
Save the file to the desktop.
Go to the desktop and click on the installation file you saved to install the files.
Installing the Data Files
If you will be delivering Professional exams, you will need to install the data files. These files are also found on the Download Files folder in the navbar. Click on the file associated with the exam you will be delivering.

And then click Run to install the files to the workstation. Repeat as necessary for all of the exams you will be delivering.
Using Offline Delivery
Autodesk Online provides an Offline delivery system for Certification Centers in areas with unstable internet connectivity. Centers do need a connection to start the test, but can proceed offline as needed. Autodesk recommends that Centers use the Online delivery system wherever possible. If you will be using the offline delivery system, follow the instructions on the download page. There is one extra step required.
