Advanced data logger for water surveys
PrimeLog+ is a small, robust and submersible battery powered data logger
designed to meet a wide range of applications. Available in single and dual channel
variants; it is ideal for network modelling applications with ±0.1% accuracy.
Combined with its 2Gbyte of memory, it enables logging of a higher resolution and
provides excellent reliability of data. Its advanced features make it an indispensable
tool for any analyst.

Applications
Network modelling It is a precise tool for
network modelling; it has a pressure analogue
accuracy to ±0.1% (FS) and multiple loggers
can also be programmed / downloaded through
its rapid USB local communications or USB hub
saving considerable time.
District and zone metering Compatible with
all common flow meters PrimeLog+ can be
used where telemetry loggers are not installed
to provide an indication of leakage within a
zone.
Pressure management and pipeline

Commercial and domestic consumption The meter index value is programmable
into the logger. This, together with its compact size for installation in small chambers,
makes it ideal for demand estimation.
Reservoir and borehole depth A range of external pressure/depth sensors are
available to help manage water resources.
Rainfall The event logging feature together with the large memory enables
PrimeLog+ to record for years before the memory is full making it suitable for long and
remote deployments.
Open channel flow It’s flexibility to operate with a variety of sensors enables the
PrimeLog+ to be used for depth and velocity measurement. It can then be converted
into a flow rate using the comprehensive PrimeWorks software.
Flow
The flow input has the ability to log 2 uni-directional or 1 bi-directional flow. This
feature enables the merging of combination meter values, regardless of different
calibration factors, for each meter. It can also register the meter index value so that
daily volumes can be acquired. A wide range of mechanical, electromagnetic and
ultrasonic flow meters are compatible, such as those from:

Pressure/Depth/Analogue
PrimeLog+ 1P and 2i have an internal pressure transducer. The PrimeLog+ 2 has an
analogue channel that can accept a range of electrical inputs or external transducers
(shown below) to meet a number of applications.

Event Logging
PrimeLog+ has the capability to log the time when an event pulse is received and thus
the time between pulses. Typical examples of event logging include rainfall and
overflows.
