Duties and responsibilities
Other duties on projects may include but not limited to:
Review / Prepare Monthly Progress Report Liaison with Client.
Responsible for Shop Drawing & Material Submittals, progress payments
and invoices for contractor and company with Client.
Co-ordinate with Design Team as necessary for Information /Design
changes.
Report progress, delay, variations, non-conformities, monthly payment,
monthly expenses and requirements
Manage the Contract Administration process assuring compliance of all
works with approved contract documents/drawings.
Review and highlight discrepancies in coordinated shop drawings and detail
specifications for architecture, building structures and building services and
follow up for remedial actions.
Assurance compliance of shop drawings with the latest designs, details &
specifications and availability of details with the construction team
Coordinate QA/QC including administering of inspection requests and
confirm compliance with inspection & Test Plans, standards and
specifications.

Approve all contractors’ submittals – shop drawings, design calculations,
prequalification
Documents and method statements and ensure prompt reply to all RFIs
issued by the contractors.
Monitor and report project progress highlighting variations facilitating
achievement of milestones.
Team evaluation (Attendance & Punctuality, Technical Knowledge, Quality
of Work, Productivity, Work Planning, Responsibility, Communication
Skills)
Organize and Create the Initial Planning for the projects with senior plans
and control Supervision.
Construction Schedule – Manpower Map –Material submittal Log –
Drawing Log.

Assuring preparing health and safety plan, attending internal meetings with
the project team and external meetings with the consultant/client.
Ensure quality check list are implemented and job description is clear to all.
Providing the format for the following to all team members:
Internal site instructions/ minutes of meetings
Material/shop drawing submittal formats
Notification for Variation/request for information (RFI)
Subcontractors’ evaluation, and payment releasing procedures.
