Client Name: David Rodriguez
Scenario: David Rodriguez, a young entrepreneur, has acquired a variety of properties across
the island of Saint Lucia and is hosting a competition for young designers to showcase their
skills. He wants to invest in small Airbnb style houses in order to capitalize on the growing
popularity of the island as a tourist destination. The winners of the competition will be tasked
with designing his accommodations.
Allow the designer freedom to explore innovative and user-friendly solutions
Architectural Programme includes and is not limited to:
Living Spaces:
- Consider the use of versatile furnishings that allow for di erent seating arrangements.
- Create inviting and exible living spaces with an emphasis on comfort and adaptability.
Dining Area:
- Design a dining area that promotes a sense of togetherness, with a potential for both
intimate and larger gatherings.
- Encourage creativity in the layout and styling to enhance the dining experience.
Kitchen:
- Craft a modern and functional kitchen space with high-quality appliances.
Bedrooms:
- Design two bedrooms that o er a sense of retreat, allowing for personalization and unique
stylistic choices.
- Consider adaptability to accommodate various guest preferences.
Work/Study Spaces:
- Incorporate a designated work/study area that seamlessly blends into the overall design.
