UST Global - ONLINE TEST

Recruitment drive for SCT, Barton Hill and LBS on 16th November Aptitude test - 60 qns in 60 minutes The questions were split into 5 sections After this test, a 10 minute speed test (15 qns) was given Note : Level of questions simple Students can switch between questions / sections, move back and forth etc. No restrictions No negative marking Sectional cut off No questions in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension Test areas Reasoning Letter series, Number series (lot of questions) , Analogies, Coding Decoding, Non verbal Reasoning (Identifying the next picture in the series), cubes (colouring), Dice (several questions two or three views of a dice are given. Each face of the dice is identified by a number / letter / symbol. We have to correctly identify the faces and answer qns), Direction (just a couple of qns), attention to detail (see details below), critical reasoning, selection, seating arrangement, comparison, order sequencing We are getting conflicting reports about deductions. Most students say that deductions was not asked. A few say that it was. (UST used to ask Deductions as per earlier pattern) Quantitative Ability Age related qns, ratio, percentages, averages & mixtures, time and work, time speed distance, Geometry (eg : square inscribed in a circle), mensuration (more qns) General structure of the test Section 1 Number series, Letter Series, Analogies, Attention to detail 1 question ( A figure is given. Qn is to Count the number of squares / circles / lines different students got different questions)

Section 2 - Odd man out Cubes painted Dice Attention to detail (a 3 D figure qiven count number of cubes) Section 3 Section 4 Non verbal Reasoning picture series finding the next picture in the series Critical reasoning - Supporting or Opposing the argument Selection

Order sequencing Seating arrangement Comparison Section 5 QA (details given above)

Speed Test - 10 minutes 15 qns Simple questions on coding, interchanging / swapping letters in a series as per instructions given. Qns are to find the result after n iterations eg : A table showing some digits & numbers and their corresponding symbols are given. Some questions are direct/ For eg : a mix of some 5-6 digits/numbers given and the questions are on what would be the corresponding code Another set of qns relate to some rules are given to swap the codes of these digits and numbers. Instructions for multiple iterations are given. Qns are like what will be the output after the 4th iteration
