One day, Kudin met an old
woman. “Would you like to be rich?”
asked the old woman.
“Sure! who doesn’t!” answered
Kudin.

“You need to go down the well.
Down there, you’ll find three rooms.
In each room you’ll find a fierce
animal. Don’t worry. Just spray this
magic portion and the animal will
not harm you,“ explained the old
woman.

“You can take what ever you find
in the rooms. I only want the wooden
box that you will find in the third
room,” added the woman. Then
Kudin climbed down the well.

In the first room, Kudin found a big
eagle sitting on a pile of copper
coins. He sprayed the magic portion
and took some of the cooper coins.

In the second room, Kudin found
a big gorilla sitting on a pile of silver
coins. He did the same and took
some of the silver coins.

In the third room, Kudin found a
big tiger, sitting on a pile of gold
coins. Again, he sprayed the portion
and took some of the gold coins.
Kudin also took the wooden box
and climbed out of the well.

Before kudin could climb out of
the well the old woman said. “Give
me the box or I’ll push you down”.
Kudin grabbed the woman’s hair
and pulled her into the well. She
dropped to the bottom and died.

Kudin bought a piece of land and
built a house with the treasure he
got. He was very generous. Who
ever came to ask for some money.
Kudin would gladly give them.

Soon, Kudin became a poor man
again. Nobody came to his house.
Then he remembered the wooden
box. He opened the box.

Out came the eagle, the gorilla
and the tiger. “Oh master! We are
ready to serve you,” said the three
animals.

“Give me some money,” said
Kudin. In a blink, appeared three
bags of copper, silver and gold
coins. Now, Kudin knew why the old
woman wanted the box so much.
