WHAT IS REPORTED SPEECH?
It is also known as indirect speech.

It is the process of paraphrasing or reporting someone


else’s words

it involves conveying what someone said without using


their exact words. -> CHANGES

“My mum doesn’t have time today,” she says.

She said that her mom doesn’t have time today.

She said that her mom didn’t have time that day.
