Feasibility
• Include an investigation of the project viability from the aspect of technical specifications, limitations, constraints, significance and
prospects in electrical and/or electronic engineering.
• Design and/or Simulation
• Present a workable conceptual electrical and/or electronic design.
• Provide a detailed explanation of the design.
• Simulation of the proposed design (if applicable) is clearly presented.
• Highlight the merits of the proposed design.
Financial and Costing Aspects
• Present a viable costing with clear details of component quantity, prices, logistic cost, profit margin, etc.
• Financial analysis and comparison
Project Management
• Present a well-organized team with clear delegation of project work among team members.
• Present a preliminary workflow on project implementation
Language, Layout, Format
• Communicate effectively on engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as being able to
comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations.
• Grammatically satisfying, consistent font and spacing and equations are numbered.
• Table of contents, list of figures and tables are properly labelled and numbered into section and subsections with page number.
• References are written in an appropriate format (e.g., IEEE format).
• Appendices are used when necessary.
• Organize and prepare an engineering solution that serve the client's need and demand.
Conclusions and Summary
• Highlight the overall conclusions of the project summarizing the preliminary design output.
