DESIGN DATA.
The system is designed to meet the strict requirements specified under the SOLAS, Amendments
2000, chapter Π-2, Part C, Regulation 7, incorporating Method IC and International Code for Fire
Safety Systems (FSS Code)
All electrical cables used in the installation of the system will have to comply with the I.E.C.
publication 60331 (Fire Resistant).
The system is divided into a number of detection/monitoring loops/zones based on the
conventional fire/smoke monitoring concept and strictly complying to the stringent requirements
of classification. The following is a list of monitoring zones & space to be protected:

Key Features
A comprehensive range of callpoints for use with both conventional and addressable systems. All of the callpoints are
designed to enable an alarm signal to be given by breaking a glass element which operates a switch and is indicated by a LED
indicator. If required, an optional transparent hinged cover may be installed to guard against accidental operation.
