1. Rationale

The course is designed to give a comprehensive coverage at an introductory level to the subject of
Logarithms and mathematical logic, Matrices and determinants, Trigonometry, Vectors and Limits.

2. Course Outcomes: At the end of the Course, the student will be able to:
CO-01 Prove logarithmic statements and write equivalent logarithmic statements.
CO-02 Differentiate whether a preposition is a tautology or contradiction and executes the same in MS
excel.
CO-03 Solve the system of linear equations using determinants and performs the same in wxmaxima
software.
CO-04 Find the trigonometric ratios of allied and compound angles and executes the same in MS excel.
Plots the trigonometric functions in Desmos graphing calculator tool.
CO-05 Apply the knowledge extensively in finding product of two vectors and executes the same in MS
excel.
CO-06 Evaluate the limit of a single variable function and extract the limit values for discretized data
of a one variable function in MS excel.
