Terms and Conditions
Participation & Registration
1. Colouring Contest is open to Malaysian children in 2 age groups: Junior Category for
ages 4 to 7 years old on 18 June 2022, and Primary for ages 8 to 12 years on 2 July
2022. Validity of age will follow date of contest, e.g. child born on or before 18 June
2018 will be eligible to join Junior Category.
2. Parents are encouraged to register their children for the contest in advance at the
mall Information Counter, or online at <URL: bit.ly/3DsaraColouring>
3. Participation is limited to 24 pax per session on first-come-first-served basis on time
of registration. Once maximum number of contestants has been reached, parents may
register their children on waiting list to be contacted 1 day prior to contest should
contestant slots become available.
4. Parents are to arrive with their child at the contest area in the mall main concourse at
least 10 minutes before 2pm to check-in with event crew on day of contest. All
contestants should be seated by 2pm for briefing.
5. Prize award will take place at 3.30pm. Contestants are required to be present to
receive prizes.
Contest Mechanics
6. Contestants will be provided a pre-printed coloring template according to their age
group. Only colouring pencils are allowed to be used in this contest.
7. Parents are strictly not allowed to assist their children colouring. Parents found
assisting may be grounds for disqualification. For Junior Category, 1 parent / guardian
may accompany their child. For Primary Category, parents / guardians may not
accompany their child and may wait nearby at seating provided.
8. Contestants are given up to 1 hour / 60 minutes to colour their templates and submit
to contest crew. Only 1 contest entry will be accepted.
9. Contestants are encouraged to bring their own colouring pencils. Colored markers,
crayons, stickers, glue, etc. as extra materials or embellishment will not be allowed
and may be grounds for disqualification. Colouring pencils available from organizer
are limited to 12 colours only.
10. Entries be judged for neatness, use of color and eye appeal. Judges’ decision will be
final and binding.
General
11. Parents / adult guardians remain responsible for safety and well-being of their
children as contestants and agree to indemnify the organizer together with 3
Damansara shopping centre against any liability during course of the contest.
12. The organizer 3 Damansara Shopping Centre and their appointed agents reserve the
rights to revise terms and conditions without prior notice including changing of prizes.
13. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner’s part to allow the use
of the winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by 3 Damansara for marketing and
promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
14. The Organiser and/or its affiliates reserve the right to withdraw, postpone or cancel
the Contest, and to amend or change the Terms and Conditions at any time for
whatever reason and without giving prior notice to the member. The decision of the
Organizer and/or its affiliates on all matters relating to and/or in connection with the
Programme are deemed final and conclusive.
15. By participating in the contest, you agree that 3 Damansara may collect, use and
disclose your personal data, photograph and video for purposes of advertising and
publicity purposes, and sending participants any advertisements, information
material or messages (via mail, email and sms) relating to the Organizers products,
services and events ("marketing messages"), in accordance with the Personal Data
Protection Act 2021.
