1 General Information

1.1 Notice before application


� Please read the instruction manual carefully before installation and
application, to avoid wrong operation which may cause equipment
damaged.
� The equipment is a special product, and shall be installed and
operated by qualified personals.
� If the ambient temperature reaches the freezing point of cooling
medium, anti-freeze measures must be taken, otherwise, the device
may be damaged badly!

1.2 General information of cooling system


The forced-oil water cooling device is a special cooler for high-power
transformer cooled by forced-oil circulation. LYS type oil water cooler
produced by our company is composed of shell-and-tube heat exchanger with
low finned helical tube, special electric oil pump for transformer, oil flow relay
and butterfly valve for transformer etc. It has the advantages of high efficiency
of heat exchange, low noise, no leakage, simple operation and reliable work.
The control system components adopted are known products at home, and
can be linkage controlled by transformer to start or stop the oil water cooler
automatically according to the changes of oil temperature, as well as upload
the dry contact signals of work, trouble, high temperature, oil flow, and full stop
of the oil water cooler to the general control room.

The oil water cooling device contains control system. The cooing device
and the transformer can be linkage controlled, and the control system will
transfer all monitor signals to terminal box, and then upload to the general
control room.

Systems-Requirements
The basic standard of design and manufacture of oil water cooling system
is to ensure the system can adapt all kinds of operating conditions of forced-oil
transformer in various environmental conditions. The device can work stably
and long-term, without deformation, leakage, abnormal vibration and defects
impacting the normal operation of transformer. The design of piping system
ensures oil resistance remains at lowest value. All electromechanical
equipments and meters adopted are reliable known products at home and
abroad, material selected is considered the possibility of corrosion, aging and
deterioration in the bad environment. The quality control system is in
accordance to ISO9001:2000. The device has good appearance and structure,
which can enable it match the applied operation conditions.

5 Instruction of process flow


The oil water cooling system is composed of shell- and-tube coolers (oil
water heat exchangers), oil flow relay for transformer, butterfly valve for
transformer, oil in and out pipelines, bottom frame for coolers and general
control box etc.

The oil water cooling system includes two loops of oil circulation and
external cooling water circulation. The heat exchanger is divided into two
different loops by low finned helical tubes, which can induce indirect contact
heat transfer between transformer oil and external cooling water, and heat will
be finally transferred to water.

The working principle of the cooling system: the heat-loaded oil is output
from transformer into the cooler through oil pipelines, it will enter the oil
chamber after pressurized by oil pump, and transfer heat to the external
cooling water in the way of indirect contact heat transfer. The cooled oil will
return to the transformer through oil pipelines to absorb heat, and re-enter the
cooling device for heat exchange. In such a way, it moves in cycles and make
up the closed circulation cooling loop.

The cooling control system consists of low-voltage electric components,


oil flow relay, thermometer for electric contact, pressure gauge for electric
contact and upper monitor, to achieve the linkage of the cooling system,
coolers work or stop according to the temperature changes of transformer. The
cooling system will send information such as operation and trouble of coolers
to the general control room.

5.1 Transformer oil circulation loop (first cooling)

5.1.1 Oil-water heat exchanger


The oil water heat exchanger provides heat exchange for transformer oil
and external cooling water. It adopts shell-and tube heat exchanger, which is
composed of one oil chamber and two water chambers. The oil chamber is
fixed with a set of stainless steel low finned helical tubes, and water is in
tubes while oil is outside. Oil route goes in “S”, and water route is divided
into three sections. The water tubes adopt shell-and-tube welding structure,
so as to completely eliminate the danger of oil and water mixed. The heat
exchangers unit adopts the connections of stack and parallel, horizontal
installation structure to facilitate maintenance and clean. The exchangers
have butterfly valves on the inlet and outlet, so that maintenance can be
done without stop working, and achieve several working mode that one
cooler is working and another is standby, or several coolers work
simultaneously. All flanges and butterfly valves adopt oil-resistant H-shaped
washers, which can extend service life and eliminate leakage. The heat

exchanger manufactured by our company has the advantages of high


efficiency of heat exchange, compact structure, easy disassembly and
simple clean and maintenance.

5.1.2 Electric oil pump for transformer


Electric oil pump for transformer is mainly applied for the forced oil
circulation in the cooling system of high-power transformer, electric furnace
transformer, electric locomotive transformer and other special transformer.
The product of our company is well-designed by experienced senior engineers,
adopts the most advanced hydraulic model at home, applies the similar design,
therefore, it has high efficiency and excellent performance. The body of pump
and motor case are made from thin plates to achieve shock resistant, light
weight. The oil pump has the advantages of novel and compact structure,
good rigidity, small vibration, low noise, no shaft seal (filler or mechanical
sealing), no leakage, stable running and reliable operation. It is an ideal oil
transfer equipment for transformer cooling. Pay attention to the direction of
pump when application, it is feasible to confirm the rotary direction is correct or
not by oil flow relay!!

5.1.3 Oil flow relay


The oil flow relay is applied to show the changes status of oil flow in the
cooling system, to monitor the operation status of oil pump, such as the rotary

direction is correct or not, valves is open or not, pipelines are blocked or not. If
the operation flow reaches the limit value of relay, it will send alarm to control
system, the working cooler has trouble and the standby one must put into
operation immediately. The relay must be installed according to the arrow
direction of oil flow. The direction of relay must be same with direction marked
on the relay connection pipes, and same with the direction of oil flow in the
heat exchanger!!

5.1.4 Butterfly valve for transformer


The butterfly valve is the special butterfly valve for transformer to inspect
and adjust the cooling system. The butterfly valve is made of integral steel
plate or aluminum plate with good rigidity, no blisters, no leakage and long
service life. It applies rubber sealing with oil resistant, anti-ageing, and good
sealing performance. The butterfly valve is flexible, obvious marking, 90° limit,
anti automatic switch-off due to impulsive force of oil flow. The butterfly valve is
designed to keep on working on one side pipeline while another side pipeline is
disassembled to be repaired, so as to reduce the losses of transformer oil to
minimum.

During installation, half fastening bolts of butterfly valve shall be tightened


by three nuts, otherwise, the above functions shall not be achieved!!!

5.1.5 Check valve


A check valve is mounted on the outlet of heat exchanger to avoid oil
circulation loops of different exchangers interfering each other, so as to
achieve the multi working modes of heat exchanger, like one is working and
another is standby, or several exchanger works simultaneously.

5.1.6 Cooling medium and pipes


The system works in a clean condition, and the circulation pipes adopts
high quality steel pipes with on blisters, no leakage and stable and reliable
operation, in order to keep cooling medium clean. The pipelines have no any
residue, oil or metal oxide layer after the strict process of pressure test, sand
blasting, clean, neutralize, degrease, rinse and coating (internal coated with oil
resistant 951 paint) , so as to ensure the reliable operation.
The methods of pipes connection are flange, and welding etc.
Sealing material of sealing mouth is NBR etc.
An automatic air-exhausting valve is designed on a suitable position of the
pipe system to exhaust air efficiently, so as to ensure minimum liquid leakage.
The cooling system also has sewage outlet, emergency outlet, as well as
sufficient service room to facilitate inspection, repair and maintenance.

5.2 External cooling loop


The temperature and flow of external cooling water are the necessary
conditions to keep heat transfer performance of the water cooling system, and
the pressure is the necessary condition to ensure the cooling system safe
operation. Ii must meet the technical parameters requirements of the system.
The external cooling water loop is designed with butterfly valves on the
inlet and outlet of heat exchanger, which improves system adjustment and
maintenance more convenient and reasonable.
The pipes of external cooling water loop adopt high quality carbon steel
pipes, which past the strict processes of pressure test, clean, rinse and coating,
so as to ensure the reliable operation.

6 Control and monitor

6.1 First loop

6.1.1 Power supply


The power supply for the cooling system is alternating current of
AC415V±10%, 50±0.2Hz, three-phase 5-wire system, and one way. There

must be reliable electrical grounding on the site to ensure the stable and safe
operation of equipment.

6.1.2 Protection for main equipment


It is provided with protections against short circuit, over current, over
voltage and off-phase for the oil pump of the cooling system. Failure status will
be uploaded.

Main electrical load:


� Main pumps: 3.0KW, 7.0 A, 1pcs;
� And total electrical load: power: 3.0KW, current: 7.0A.

6.2 Second loop


The control loop adopts low voltage electrical components and the
comprehensive control protection system of upper monitor, so as to:
� Monitor and protect the cooling system;
� Redundancy switch oil pumps and run simultaneously;
� Upload the operation status of the cooling system to upper monitor;
and
� Meters project, any meter exceeds the alarm limit value, alarm signal
shall be sent out immediately to inform operators.

6.3 Meters project


The cooling system is designed with pressure gauge for electric contact
(inlet of external cooling water), oil flow relay, thermometer for electric contact
(inlet oil temperature), and pressure gauge (inlet of oil chamber).
Pressure gauge PI: monitor inlet pressure of external cooling water.
Oil flow relay FIS: monitor the oil flow of cooler. Operators on duty will be
warned to inspect and repair if it is low;
Pressure gauge PI: monitor the pressure of oil chamber of the cooler.

6.4 Operation modes


The cooling system operation has remote mode, stop mode and Local
mode, which can be achieved by three-position rotary switch.

remote mode: the switch is preset. When the cooler works, it will run or
stop automatically according to the preset status..

Local mode: The cooler is completely controlled on site. The cooler will
work or stop by operating the switch..

Stop mode: The cooling system stops working.

6.5 Control board

6.6 Remote transmission


6.6
If remote control signal and cooling system alarm signal is high required
for real time, the cooling system shall communicate with monitor system of
cooled components through switching volume nodes.

7 Installation
The installation of the cooling system shall meet the requirements of
designed parameters, otherwise, it may cause the system can not operate
normally! The system is designed for indoor or outdoor installation. Indoor
installation is recommended, in case of outdoor, protection measures like rain,
sand, storm and snow proof must be taken.

7.1 Transportation
The cooling system can be hoisted by crane, if hoisting, put rope on the
bottom of frame, intersection angle of rope shall be less than 45°, and rope
shall be long as far as possible to avoid strong inward force on the cooling
system, it is better to fix a rectangle frame on the top to support, so as to avoid
damaging the system. Also, it can be transported by forklift truck taking
advantage of the bottom frame. It shall be stable as far as possible during
transportation, without crashing other goods. Forklift transportation is
recommended!!

7.2 Equipment installation


The bottom of the cooling system has four mounting holes. When
installing, the bottom shall be horizontal and smooth, the installation shall be
firm and stable, and grounding must be done.

7.3 Fill oil


Series connect the cooling system with oil filter, and fill oil through oil filter.
It is suggested that the cooling system is series connected with oil filter, so that
the oil quality is qualified before enters the oil chamber of transformer, and
finally the oil pipe lines of the whole system is connected.

7.4 Install system pipes joints


The pipes of cooling system have been cleaned and sealed for store
before leaving the factory, and it should be kept clean during installation. The
sealing packing board shall not be removed before installation. If there are
pipes to be weld on site, it shall be weld based on the actual situation, and
these pipes must be cleaned for further installation.

It is suggested to adopt water tank for drainage for the outlet of cooling
system, and the pressure of oil pipelines is higher than that of water
pipelines!!

7.5 Install electric interface


Electric cable is introduced from the bottom of the equipment, and is
connected directly to the terminal on the control box of the system. The cable
can be bind to the box body, and grounding must be reliable and firm. The
installation must be done according to the terminal diagram, please pay
attention to strong current and weak current, which shall not be connected
wrong. Finally, inspection must be done to confirm whether there is wrong
connection, short circuit and reliable grounding or not, in order to avoid
damaging the control systems of cooling system and the upper monitor.

8 Work and operation


The cooling system is controlled by linkage control of upper monitor and
site control box. For details, please refer to the part of control instruction, the
work and operation of the system includes oil pumps and meters feedback
information etc.

Fill transformer oil into the cooling system, check power supply loop and
reverse direction of oil pumps, as well as check the oil flow direction of oil flow
relay is same with the oil flow direction of the cooling system or not.

8.1 Fill oil


Every cooler has oil filling plug on the bottom, and oil can also be filled into
coolers through the general oil pipes. The exhausting plugs on the tops of
coolers should be open when filling oil, it may be closed if there is oil spilling
from the plug. Run oil pump for about 1 minute, and keep it still for 1 hour, then
open the plug carefully to exhaust air, repeat the operation until there is no air
exhausted.

8.2 Drain oil


Every cooler has a drainage plug on the bottom, which can be connected
with hose. The exhausting plug on the top should be open during draining oil.

8.3 Exhaust air


The oil chamber and water chamber of every cooler and are designed with
exhausting plugs on the tops, air can be exhausted by open the plugs.
Transformer oil may flow out during exhausting air, and operation must be
careful! The power supply of the cooling system must be cut off to stop oil
pump working during exhausting, so as to avoid spouting more oil due to faulty
operation, avoid unnecessary losses and personal safety!

8.4 Power on
Check power supply loop combining the control system before power on.
The coolers must be full with oil before the oil pump of transformer is power on,
it is forbidden to run without oil or low oil level! Check backward and forward

rotation of oil pump, and check monitor loop and meters loop are normal or
not.

8.5 Start stop


The power supply for the cooling system is on. Control the oil pump by the
control switch on the control panel. The system will stop after the cooling
system work normally and stable, the operation performance of all parts meets
the requirement.

Check:

1. Noise, vibration and operation current of oil pump;


2. Oil flow direction and oil flow of every cooler;
3. No leakage of the cooling system; and
4. The operation, instruction, protection and uploaded signals of the
control system are all correct.
The oil pump shall not be started or stopped frequently in order to
extend the service life!

8.6 Flow of transformer oil


The oil flow of transformer is one of the most important parameters to
ensure the heat exchange capacity of the cooling system. The flow can be
adjusted by inlet valve of the oil pump to keep it above the rated flow. The
cooling system is designed with oil flow relay, which shall not alarm during the
cooler is working.

8.7 Flow of external cooling water


The temperature and flow of external cooling water are important
parameters to ensure the heat exchange capacity of the cooler, which should
meet the design requirements. The design rated flow of external cooling water
for one cooler is 32T/H. It should be kept in the range, otherwise, the heat
exchange performance will drop. The pressure of external cooling water shall
be higher than oil pressure!

8.8 No load operation of transformer


Transformer runs without load, the cooler will put into operation when the
temperature of top oil in transformer reaches 65℃, control the quantity of the
working coolers to keep oil temperature at 65℃, the quantity is the required
working coolers for no load operation of transformer, which is directly related to
the temperature of external cooling water.

8.9 Load operation of transformer


The insulation grade between transformer and oil, and the insulation
grade of transformer oil shall meet the requirement of operation before the
transformer is loaded to work. After inspection is passed, it is loaded gradually
from low to high. Adjust the quantity of working coolers according to the rising
status of oil temperature to keep it in the required range for transformer.

8.10 Stop
Cooler should keep on working for at least 30 minutes after transformer
stops working (the stop of cooler shall be properly adjusted according to
ambient temperature), otherwise, the residual heat of transformer can not be
cooled, which may cause the transformer over heated, even damages to
transformer and parts of the cooling system!!! Be careful to close the external
cooling water loop, then close the oil pump when stop working.

9 System maintenance
It is necessary to take good and complete preventive maintenance to keep
the forced-oil water cooling system running without trouble.

The manual briefly describes the measures of routing maintenance,


inspection and repair for the cooling system, including: electric, mechanical
and pipes system etc. But, it is only a general guide, and the regular
maintenance for every cooling system is not same due to different design
purpose and environmental condition for designated project. It depends on the
professional engineers in this field to make further summary optimization
based on their experiences.

9.1 Cautions
(1) Ensure safe electrical operation;
(2) Don’t change the setting parameters at will;
(3) Don’t change the system settings of valves position at will;
(4) Keep the environment clean during installation and maintenance;
(5) Don’t repair pipes with pressure;
(6) Restore the valves to the original positions after maintenance;
(7) Cut-off power supply before maintain electrical and control parts;
(8) Switch the option button on the control board to “stop” before
maintenance; and
(9) In case of long-term shutdown in winter, anti-freeze and protection
measures should be taken for the cooling system. If the ambient
temperature reaches the freezing point of transformer oil, oil in
the idle coolers should be drained.

9.2 Routing inspection

9.2.1 Inspection items every month


(1) Noise and operation current of oil pump;
(2) Display and interface of meters;
(3) Connecting bolts and sealing washers of pipes;
(4) The surface of heat exchanger has no leakage; and
(5) Signal lights and contact signals on the control panel.

9.2.2 Inspection items every year


(1) Connecting bolts and sealing washers of pipes;
(2) Electrical insulation and grounding resistance;
(3) The surface of heat exchanger has no leakage;
(4) Noise, operation current and shaft of oil pump; and
(5) Calibration of meters.

9.3 Equipments and parts maintenance


Make maintenance for all parts in time according to their functions and
related drawings. For details, please refer to the instruction manuals of the key
parts.

9.3 .1 Heat exchanger maintenance


During the operation, the external cooling water may have various dirt,
which will cause the heat exchange performance declines. It is suggested the
heat exchanger is cleaned every year after one-year operation; Routine
inspection shall be strengthened. It is proposed to replace heat exchanger to
avoid transformer damaged due to corrosion of exchanger.

1. Stop heat exchanger needed to be maintained;

2. Close inlet and outlet valves of heat exchanger;

3. Decompression of transformer oil circulation loop and external cooling


water loop

4. Open the flange covers of two sides of water chamber of heat


exchanger;

5. Pull nylon brush by rope to clean the inner wall of pipes, or use high
pressure cleaner to wash pipes (Abrasives and metal bush are
forbidden). More serious dirt can be cleaned after soaking in boiler
cleaning agent, sodium carbonate solution, or 5% H2SO4 solution for
half an hour. It is strictly prohibited to soak for a long time, in order to
avoid shell-and-tube plates damaged due to cleaning agent reaction
with plates.

6. Put on the flange covers after clean. It is recommended to replace the


flange sealing washers of water chamber.

7. Oil chamber and water chamber shall be taken pressure test after
clean and maintain heat exchanger. Fill 0.4MPa compressed air into

oil and water chambers for hydrostatic test, and air pressure should
keep 8 hours without leakage.

9.4 Alarm system for cooling system


The cooling system sends operation and alarm signals to upper monitor in
the mode of digital quantity. It is required to check and dispose upon the
system’s alarm, otherwise, it may cause serious troubles. Be careful of
personal safety before taking measure to eliminate troubles!!!

1. oil pump working: the normal signal of 1# oil pump working;

2. coolers stop: alarm must draw attention. The operator on duty


must dispose in time if the transformer is still working. Check the
control power supply of the cooling system, check other alarm
signals appear or not, keep watch on the operation temperature. If
it can not be disposed in time, the transformer can be stopped if it
is necessary;

3. Oil flow disorder: alarm, when the oil flow after the normal exit
alarm automatically.

4. oil pump overload: alarm, should be timely repair recovery. Check


the thermal relay 1# oil pump action, before reset, check to
ensure that the abnormal reason;

1. Main application
Electric oil pump for transformer (hereinafter referred to as “oil pump”) is
mainly applied for the forced oil circulation in the cooling system of high-power
transformer, electric furnace transformer, electric locomotive transformer and
other special transformer. The product of our company is well-designed by
experienced senior engineers, adopts the most advanced hydraulic model at
home, applies the similar design, therefore, it has high efficiency and excellent
performance. The body of pump and motor case are made from thin plates to
achieve shock resistant, light weight. The oil pump has the advantages of
novel and compact structure, good rigidity, small vibration, low noise, no
bearing seal (filler or mechanical sealing), no leakage, stable running and
reliable operation.

2. Model explanation
For example: 6B3-80—7/3V
● 6 — number of poles of motor

3. Application conditions
● Ambient temperature: -25℃~+40℃
● Circulation fluid: transformer oil
● Maximum oil temperature at inlet is 95℃, and the minimum should be
5℃higher than the freezing point of oil.
● Power supply is three-phase AC, rated voltage is 380V and rated
frequency is 50Hz.
● Operation mode is S1 continuous operation.
● Rotation direction of pump is counterclockwise rotation which can be
observed from the inlet of pump.

4. Transportation and storage


● Transportation of the products should be gentle according to the storage
mark. Throwing and dropping is forbidden to avoid internal components
damaged due to impact.
● Stored products shall not contact with ground, which should be stored in
the clean and dry place without corrosive gas.
● Package case shall not be open if the product is not used currently. If
the pump is needed to be stored after application, it shall be filled with
transformer oil or N2 0.2~0.3Mpa, the sealing washers and covers of inlet and
outlet of pump should be tightened by bolts.

5. Structure instruction
Oil pump consists of stator module, rotor, pump case and impeller etc.

The front and end of pump case of stator module are mounted with
bearings to support rotor module. The impeller is fixed on the side of inlet by
key so that it can rotate in pump body. The centre hole of shaft is designed to
cool stator and lubricate the bearing at the end. The front bearing is in the
forced lubrication loop, the flowing fluid shall keep it with good lubrication
status and good operation. The outlet of forced lubrication loop is balancing
hole of impeller, which is designed to balance thrust of shaft.

The circulation route of transformer oil in pump is that, a part of oil flows
out from outlet of impeller, passes through small hole of motor cover to the
space of iron core of stator module and it case, and the space of iron core of
stator and rotor module, then converges at the end bearing, return to the core
hole of rotor shaft from the end side, and to the space of front bearing, bearing
cover and impeller, finally return to the low pressure area of inlet. Transformer
oil circulates in the pump to cool the stator and rotor in motor, as well as to
lubricate the front and end bearings, so as to extend the service life of oil
pump.

6. Installation and operation requirements


● The hot insulation resistance of motor stator module shall not less than
20MΩ measured by 500VWΩ meter.
● Pull impeller from inlet, the rotation sound shall be even and melodious.
If there are stagnation and rub phenomena, the impeller must be adjusted, and
the jump of sealing ring of impeller at diameter position shall be less than
0.1mm.
● Power on to test rotation direction, it should be same with the direction
shown on arrow card of case flange, make marks on power cable and pump
wire in pair.
● Oil pump operates without load under the status of no oil flows, it is
required to fill a little of transformer oil into the inlet to lubricate bearing. The
test time shall be less than 3S, and the operation sound shall be melodious
with no noise.
● Oil pump is installed in the pipe route, and the pump cavity shall be filled
with transformer oil before operation.
● In order to ensure oil pump safe operation, the electric circuit should be
protected by circuit breaker, and the surface should be grounded reliably.
It is suggested that keep the outlet side up or inlet side up during oil pump
installation. The pump can exhaust air automatically adopting either installation
method, and the exhausting device should be applied for other methods since
the temperature of coil of oil pump will rise abnormally due to the residual air in
motor. The installation should be done according to the above methods if there
is no exhausting device for oil pump.
After oil pump is installed in the system, pump and inlet side should be
filled with transformer oil to take trail run to check the operation status. If it is
normal, the impeller shall be stable running, the head of delivery and flow of oil
pump shall be in the specified ranges, as well as the operation parameters of
motor in the rated scope.

7. Maintenance
The oil pump is not permitted in principle to be disassembled, repaired
and maintained on the operation spot because the quality management can
not be assured, which could be done in our company if necessary. In case of
urgent case, the operation can be done on the spot by our company’s engineer,

or under the supervision of our engineer. The following disassembling


procedures are only for reference.

It is better to take disassembly on a clean working site in order to avoid


components damaged.

1. Take off external electric cable from junction box;

2. Take off oil pump from the system;

3. Screw off fastening bolts from pump body, separate motor from pump
body;

4. Screw off impeller bolts, draw out impeller from shaft;

5. Take off bolts from motor cover, and draw it out together with motor
rotor;

6. Draw out cover on the shaft (together with the front bearing);

7. Take off fixing bolts of bearing and draw it out; and

8. Finally, draw out bearing at end of shaft.

Oil pump assembly can be done according to the steps of disassembly,


but pay attention to the following points:

1. Check all components have dirt and foreign matters or not. If there are,
please wash them by clean transformer oil;

2. O-shaped ring will lose elasticity and be deformed due to long-term


service. Please replace it in time, and washer the groove and fitting
surface before fixing the ring;

3. Press inner ring of bearings when put bearings on shaft;

4. Lock the bolts of impeller after tightened;

5. Check the core of shaft is blocked by foreign matters or not through air;
and

6. After assembly, oil pump will be filled with transformer oil for 6 hours
leakage test under the pressure of 0.5Mpa, and there should be no
leakage.

Oil pump shall be stopped to be inspected immediately if one of the


following troubles occurs. It can put into operation only after the trouble is
resolved.

● Abnormal sound or too high noise;


● Deviation of the actual voltage and rated value of power supply is over
±5%;
● Rated current increases and temperature rises too high;
● Insulation resistance of motor is too low; and
● Flow cannot reach the rated value.

repair and maintenance.

概述 Brief ntroduction

产品主要用途(Application)
油流继电器(以下简述继电器)是显示变压器强迫油循环冷却系统内油流量
变化的装置。用来监视强油循环冷却系统的油泵运行情况,如油泵转向是否正确,
阀门是否开启,管路是否堵塞等情况,当油流量达到动作油流量或减少到返回油
流量时均能发出报警信号。该产品是我公司科技人员吸取电厂、变电站等用户在
使用原油流继电器需要改进和完善之建议上,并吸取国外先进技术,将产品重新
改进设计,目前改为国内最先进、最完善的产品。

The Oil Flow Indicator is used for showing the quantity of oil flow in the
transformer cooling system with forced oil circulation and supervising the operation
situation of oil pump of cooling system with forced oil circulation, such as whether
the rotation direction of oil pump is correct, the valve is opened ,the conduit is
blocked, etc. The indicator can initiate the alarming signal when the quantity of oil
flow increases to the action oil quantity or decreases to the return oil flow
quantity .The product is improved by technician absorb the suggestion with asked to
improved and perfect the Oil Flow Relay which used by Power Station、 Substation.

继电器主要由三部分组成:一、微动开关 1、拨杆组件 2、复位涡卷弹簧 6、


调整盘 7、推动板 10 构成信号部分;二、磁钢 5、轴承 8、传动轴 9 构成转动部
分;三、表盘 4 和指针 3 构成信号显示部分。如图 1 所示。

● Structure of oil flow indicator


The indicator of oil flow mainly consists by three parts: The current signal
outputs part which is formed by micro operation switch 1、cam 2、spring of item 6、
adjusting plate of item 7、movable plate of item 10, the signal deliver system of the
oil flow part which is formed by coupling magnet 5、bearing 8、transmission axis 9、
indication part which is formed by disc face of item 4 and point of item 3,as show in
figure 1.

● 工作原理

当变压器冷却系统的油泵启动后就有油流循环,油流量达到动作油流量
以上时冲动继电器的动板旋转到最终位置,通过磁钢的耦合作用带动指示部
分同步转动,指针指到流动位置,微动开关常开接点闭合发出正常工作信号。
当油流减少到返回油流量(或达不到动作油流量)时,动板借助复位涡卷弹
簧的作用动板返回,使微动开关的常开接点打开,常闭接点米和发出故障信
号。
● Working principle of Indicator oil flow
After the oil pump of transformer cooling system starts, the oil flow will circulate.
When the quantity of oil flow increases to the action oil flow quantity, the
movable plate of the Indicator oil flow will be pushed to rotate to the limit
position. The indication part will rotate synchronously, the point will turn to
corresponding position, the normal open contact of micro operation switch will
close, normal operation signal will be initiated. When the quantity of oil flow
decreases to the return oil flow quantity( or does not reaches to the action oil
flow quantity). The movable plate will return to the original position by means of
the action of the spring, and the normal open contact of the micro operation
switch will open and the normal close contact will close, the fault signal will be
initiated.

继电器的安装与调试(Installation and commission)

继电器的安装(Installatin)
● 继电器应安装在变压器冷却回路上,一般安装在油泵的出油口或进油口上。
● 继电器安装时必须保证挡板与油流方向相符,确保动作状态的稳定性。
● D1 中心线,D2 常闭点,D3 常开点。

● The indictor oil flow shall installed on the circuit of transformer cooling system,
generally at the inlet and outlet terminal of the oil pump.
● The indictor shall be installed to keep the block plate to be in accordance with the
dissection of oil flow, in order to keep the stability of action appearance.

继电器的调整(Adjustment)
● 继电器在出厂前已在专用流量设备上将工作点调整好,用户在一般情况下请
不要任意调整。
● 继电器在安装前应检查在储存和运输过程中有否损坏和锈蚀,动板及传动部
分应转动灵活无卡滞现象。
● 继电器在安装前应检查引线、出现端子和微动开关绝缘性能是否良好。
● 在使用中继电器在额定流量位置时,指针有抖动现象时,可将继电器从管路
上卸下,表盘向下放置平稳,并做好调整盘的原始装配位置标记,松开固定
调整盘用的三只 M5 螺栓,将调整盘逆时针适当旋转一定角度,整个调整过程
中一定要用手把住调整盘,以防因涡卷弹簧扭力而滑脱,调整完成后装好各
拆卸件。

● Before ex-works, the working point has been adjusted on special equipment of
discharge, normally the user do not adjust arbirtrarily.
● Before installation, check whether there are any damage or rusty during storage
or transportation, the movable plate and transmission part shall move flexibly
without any retarding.
● Before installation, check whether the insulation character of lead, terminal and
micro operation switch is in good condition.
● When the indicator on the position of rated discharge, if the point shaked, you
can dismantle the indicator from the conduit, place the disc downwards steadily,
mark the original assembling position on the disc, loose the three M5 screws for
fixing and adjusting, hold the disc with hands to prevent the spring from falling
down, after adjusting, reassemble all the parts.

保养 (Maintenance)
继电器在运行中应每年检查一次引线和微动开关绝缘性能是否良好,密封垫
圈是否需要更换。
During operation, check the oil flow indictor once a year. Check whether the
insulation of lead and micro operation switch is in good condition, and whether the
gaskets need replacement.
说明:订货时烦注明产品型号、额定工作流量、动作流量、安装法兰面至输
油管中心距(即 L1 尺寸)、油流方向(如流向从左至右或从上至下)。
Note: When ordering, please indicate the type, rated working quantity of oil
flow, action oil flow quantity, the distance from the surface of flange to the center of
conduit( i.e. the dimension of L1), the direction of oil flow( for example, oil flows
from left to right or from up to down).
