DIVISION LAUNCHING OF ADOLESCENT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH (ARH) WEBINAR SERIES

September 23-24, 2021
The Grade Four learners participated in the Launching of the Adolescent Reproductive Health last
September 23, 2021, at 1:00-5:00PM and September 24, 2021, at 1:00-2:00 PM. The aforementioned
webinar spoke about the importance of knowledge about reproductive health, puberty and its impact in the
youth’s perception in the future.
They promote healthy and responsible sexual and social behavior among adolescents; Address the
reproductive health concerns of adolescents, who are exposed to risky behaviors that may cause damaging
and long-term consequences; ensure that adolescents have access to adequate and appropriate information
and health care education; and enable teachers to integrate key concepts and messages on reproductive
health concerns across the curriculum.

NARRATIVE REPORT
September 23-24 ,2021 - 1:00-5:00 PM
The Grade Five pupils participated in the launching of Adolescent Reproductive Health of SDO-
Pasay last September 23-24 at 1:00-5:00 PM. The aforementioned webinar aims to:
➢ Enhance the over-all wellness of the Filipino adolescents (Physical, mental. Emotional, social
and spiritual);
➢ Ensure that adolescent have access to adequate and appropriate information and health care
education
➢ Address the reproductive health concerns of adolescents, who are exposed to risky behaviors
that may cause damaging and long-term consequences
➢ Promote heathy and responsible sexual and social behavior among adolescents
➢ Develop mature and responsible children and young adolescents imbued with desirable
health values, which can assist them in making rational decisions than can lead to satisfying
productive and quality life
➢ Provide teachers with a resource material for developing life skills such as decision-making
and problem-solving relative to adolescent reproductive health
➢ Enable teachers to integrate key concepts and messages on reproductive health concerns
across the curriculum wherever these can be done.

DIVISION LAUNCHING OF ADOLESCENT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH (ARH)
WEBINAR SERIES
The School Division of Pasay Launched the Adolescent Health Series as part of OK sa DepEd Program
last September 23-24, 2021. They invited all parents and learners to take part of the said event. They launched
the Adolescent health series that will help all the learners to be physically, mentally and socially well equipped.
The adolescent health series educate and informed all learners on the health risk of early pregnancy. The
program was started with the opening remarks of our School Division Superintendent, Dr. Loreta D.
Torrecampo, CESO V.
She encouraged all parents to take part of the said program and be aware in protecting their young
learners. The program was presented by various speakers who were all experts in the field of adolescent
health. All present during the program learned something new and valuable things.
The Adolescent Health Series has one big objective which is to ensure that students aged 10-19 years
old are healthy, safe, educated and empowered. The said topic is very sensitive yet so important.
It is very important to ensure that students are not doing any mistake. They are the future of our
nation. They must be educated so they can learn what is right and wrong, what are acceptable or unacceptable
things to do. They should know how to control their impulsivity and how to protect themselves from all risky
actions. The program was made possible with the collaboration of DepEd, DOH and CHED. They all worked
together to ensure that every student will be safe and protected no matter what.
Teachers should also take part in this noble cause by educating their students about the bad and
good things in life. Teach them how to say no especially when they are in doubt. Teach them how to keep
themselves safe and secure without doing anything that is against the law.
The Adolescent Health Series was a big success because it brought all parents, students, and teachers
together. It had one goal which is for everyone to be physically, mentally, and socially fit. The program also
invited experts to share their expertise about health, wellness, healthcare, and other related topics.
