CLASS/LEVEL VII (Basic)


TOPIC Self Introduction
The Students can ask for and provide information about

MATERIALS Whiteboard, marker, eraser,
TIME 2 x 45 minute
POTENTIAL PROBLEM The student is defiant, rowdy, or distracting of others.

Present: Get SS ready to discuss topic (activate background knowledge). Review language,
if needed, teach a new language.
Present Activities Interaction Time
• Teacher starts the class with salam. T-SS 2 minute
• The teacher instructs students to pray T-SS 3 minute
• The Teacher gives attention grab ( teacher put up the hands
and says “waterfall fingers” after that the students put up T-SS 5 minute
their hands then bring them down while saying
“shhhhhh…”
• The teacher shows a video about expressions of Self- T-SS 5 minute
Introduction and Introducing others
• The teacher asks the students about expressions of Self- T-SS 5 minute
Introduction and Introducing others earned after watching
the video.

Practice: Create a few practice activities using the new language. Try to increase STT and
decrease TTT. Remember S-S interaction is very important.

• Students convey orally several examples of sentences SS-T 5 minute
that express expressions of Self-introduction and
introducing others
• The teacher gives an evaluation and appreciation of T-SS 5 minute
the examples of sentences stating Self-Introduction
and Introducing others that have been conveyed by
students
• Teacher formed students in pairs to cooperate with T-SS 5 minute
others.
• The teacher directs students to arrange random T-SS 15 minute
conversations into a coherent and meaningful
conversation in expressing Self-Introduction and
Introducing others.
Produce: Production activities give studentallow studentsnvocabulary on their own to
construct new dialogues and conversations.
