ABSTRACT.
The maintenance of Fanuc Robot Series R-2000i is crucial for sustaining its efficiency and reliability in
modern manufacturing environments. This abstract emphasizes the significance of proactive maintenance
strategies to ensure optimal performance and longevity of these advanced robotic systems. It highlights
the intricate mechanisms and critical components of the R-2000i series, which are susceptible to wear and
tear over time. The abstract advocates for a holistic approach to maintenance, incorporating preventive,
predictive, and corrective measures. Preventive maintenance involves routine inspections, lubrication,
and component replacements to preemptively address potential issues and minimize unexpected
downtime. Predictive maintenance utilizes data analytics and sensor technology to forecast equipment
failures, optimizing resource allocation and reducing disruptions to production schedules. Additionally,
the abstract underscores the importance of diagnostics, condition monitoring, and compliance with
manufacturer recommendations to refine maintenance strategies iteratively and enhance operational
efficiency over the long term.
